How has the scooter lasted in the long run your videos are great tests and im thinking about getting one of these i only really need to go like 6 miles to the skate park and back its got some hills or i can take a gravel path idk im about 200 pounds with my skateboard and bag probably 220lb and do you have any other suggestions at this proce point ?
@Scooter-King.9 күн бұрын
There are some seriously good scooters now in this price point for sure. For heavier riders and payloads you definitely gotta look at the V Max VX4, the Emove Cruiser V2, and the Punk Rider Pro. I would even look at the Nanrobot D4-Max for the best overall value as an alternatives to the Solar P1 .3.0, especially if you plan on any off road stuff since these all have C-Type suspension. The Solar is a killer scooter but the front shock design kinda limits its terrain options a bit. But for travel, its hard to beat.

Everyday I take my e-scooter to go to work and ride the shoulder line, my focus goes to any possible crap I'm about to run over than the traffic. All because of e-scooter 15 MPH speed regulation not allowing me to match myself in the traffic when i could go 30 MPH.

Did you replace the plastic washers on the rear with teflon or something? What about the front folding handle? The plastic clutch there always squeeks, if its not that its the rear. It drives me up the wall; I dont have a solar P1, but one of the many other scooters with that frame. Wondering if you have any tips...thanks.

I’m purchasing one of these scooters and I live in Springfield OR. Can you post the starting point or even the route you took. I’m looking to recreate this ride for myself.
@Scooter-King.Ай бұрын
I started at the Old Mill district bridge. Took the paved trail that goes under the road towards Riverbend Park. Followed the cobblestone path along the river all the way to the bridge and took the gravel path to the right of the bridge. Followed that all the way to the top where it meets SW Reed Market Rd. Took that up the hill and through the first roundabout headed towards the next roundabout (Century Drive) . Right before you enter the second roundabout, you need to cross the street and you will find the entrance to ‘Haul Road Trail’ paved path. This parallels Century Drive and takes you all the way out of Bend and up to the Ranger Station. From there you can cross the highway towards Conklin Road which leads to 3 different river locations (lava Island, closest, Dillon Falls boat ramp, farther, and Bentham Falls, much farther)

i have recently ordered a Solar P1 Pro 2024, with off road tyres. i will consider a hybrid set if needed but what would be the size of the tyre that i should get? all i know is that the tyres are 11 inches but i dont know any other numbers,
@Scooter-King.Ай бұрын
Unless Solar has changed them, the tires on the P1 Pro are 90/56 6.5 on both on and off road versions. The first number (90) is how wide the tire is, the second (65) is how tall and the third (6.5) is the rim size. So theoretically any tire with a 6.5 inch rim size will fit however, the Solar P1 tires are slightly wider (90) than the ULIP (80) so the tire may be slightly more narrow when mounted. I would double check with Solar on the tire size first. I see that the new self healing tires are starting to show up on other Solar models ( FF Lite, P1 3.0 ) as well so, its worth asking Solar about it.
