Theres the emotional aspect of it as well as the $5k bill! ty for this. and yeah my baby has to wear a cone for two weeks. she also peed all over our bed. i think shes a bit disoriented!

I’m so nervous, and noticed she is even swallowing her dry food whole because she’s in so much pain. I’m so scared but I know she will be feeling much better afterwards ❤️

I separated my cats so that everybody else could eat the night before surgery. The whole ordeal was a nightmare. I was so sad. Tiggy survived but refused to eat for 3 days. I pleaded with the vet for prednisone to increase her appetite but she refused. She gave some kind of idiotic $300.00 ointment to put in her ear to stimulate her appetite that was worthless, toxic, and dangerous and I threw it away after two doses.

My cat has had this since a young age, and it took 3 different vets telling me that it's tooth resorption and that the cause isn't known for me to stop blaming myself. My cat has had multiple extractions, each of multiple teeth, and every time it feels horrible. I know she's in pain, and I feel like I should be doing more, or like I could have prevented it. it's too pricy to get a cat's teeth extracted so i dont know what to do about that, ive been hearing horror stories of if you have a older cat, they'll die in the process of the surgery or after the surgery (my cat is 13 and i didnt know he had stomatitis)

I've got a cat that is about 10 years old and has teeth issues. I think the issue is absorption, but I'm not sure. I'm planning to take her into the vet soon, and I'm a bit worried because I'm living on a limited income and I know the bill will be expensive. This is the second pet I've had to take to the vet this year.

my cat ( its nearly 4) has stomatitis and she will have extracted teeth tomorrow, but we dont know how many of it.i hope she won't get all her teeth out, poor thing. i did saw her hyper salivation and a bit of bad breath before, but months ago she didnt have problems with eating, she ate normally. this week she refused even wet food and is losing weight drastically in a short time. she always had a bit of space between upper and lower jaw and she always ate in a bit strange way. my other cat never had any problems with eating or teeth. i hope she will totally recover and wont feel the pain any more, so she can eat normal again and gain weight back. i also blame myself a lot, because i didn't notice any pain earlier, but she couldnt hide it any more

I’ve never been this stressed….since two days ago….when my beloved pet-cat JaQ had his oral surgery done…He is 14 years old! I was adamant at first to have him undergo such “ dreadful experience” but I have to….for his sake…..He is in pain most of the time and I noticed his loss of. appetite and loss of weight…..Anyway, .. NOW I am so upset…..seeing him groggy ….and not eating or drinking ….( The vet . said it is “ normal “ post surgery for cats not eat or drink) He actually tried to “ lick “ the side of his water bowl… and lo and behold…..thanks God….saw him almost about to sink his head in! Half-asleep..half-awake! ..I don’t know WHEN I will GET my USED-TO-BE love of my lfe cat ……..JaQ….You’re cats are awesome…..They have “that” appetite…..Maybe because they are younger I am willing to wait tho’ ..but I hope it will be SOON!!!
