I bought a 40lb youth bow with broadheads for property/home defence because it's small and light. And I dont live in US or I'd have a handgun...

I'm not a fan of the Balisong but this was an incredible test. I have several of the Nightshade series Kubaton. It is part of my EDC in my knee pocket. I would like to see this test with them. Lynn is a bad dude. He can pull out a knife, not even open it and smile at his opponent.

When Lynn plunges a knife into a carcass.... half of the handle goes in also. That's crazy! ❤

My EDC is the S&W 2.0 10mm. ❤ I carry 5 extra magazines with 15 in each. I have several Glocks but I don't like the light plastic feel. My S&W is more accurate too.

Anything Lynn Thompson endorses..... I'm in. The new guy in Cold Steel videos, Stick..... 🤢🤮 He's like a Spaz goon. Can't do it. I hope Cold Steel, whatever company bought it, goes under and releases everything back to Lynn. I want to see a 7 inch folding Rajah. I want to see a 15 inch Kukri. I want to know why the hell I didn't get this video until today!?! 😡

Tremendous video. ❤ People, most, see this and some actually watch the full video. But they don't comprehend this at all. When crazy hits, this kind of weapon separates those who win from those who don't. In SHTF bullets run out. Gas runs out. People go back to primitive days on horses. This is a true weapon. When you see this you run the other way unless you still have bullets.

Lynn - One handed draw.... 0.30 seconds Two handed.... 0.36 Lynn says that's considerably slower. 😬 That is nothing but skill talking. ❤

I just totally agree.. it's silent, and the modern broad heads are extremely lethal. Its a weapon of war in ancient times. I am more accurate with my Mathews bow at 50 to 75 yards then a rifle. Or pin your head at 100 yards.. shooting for almost 30 years. I understand he is discussing close range defense.. good video.. ill get you on the run 75 yards out .

People make fun of Lynn and his friends. Big mistake in SHTF. This is the team you want. They'll need a doctor but they have the death skill in spades.
@redfaux744 ай бұрын
People just don't understand this. This is life or death real training. If he was 6 foot 6 inches and 99% lean with muscle on muscles and an 8 pack shirtless?!? 😕 He'd have 15 million subs. But what he's teaching is real survival combat in the wild. You get nervous and screw this up? You are gored and mauled by a 2,000 pound monster who won't stop until you're hamburger. I was taught the same thing by a Ghurka master. Lynn is the real deal. No one would want to make him mad in a SHTF scenario. If he were fit.... I wouldn't bet against him in any fight.

No one could ever convince me that there is a better weapon than the Kukri. And no one makes one better than Cold Steel.

Dr M Gyi was so proud when Cold Steel came out with the Ghurka Kukri. I'll never forget when he was showing it off at one of his clinics. All the Kukri he had held in his hands for generations.... and he looked like a child at Christmas time when holding THAT Kukri. Thank you Lynn!!! ❤ For everything over these many years.

The bow is a great choice for self-defense! Used for thousands of years in warfare! Another would be a repeating crossbow!

It took me a while but I finally found a dealer in Canada who had this in stock, ordered. I have the American hunting spear and the short haft assegai spear, we can't hunt with spears in Canada but they do make a nice walking staff for hikes and to have on hand if camping. The AHS will be my son's and this one along with the assegai will be mine.

I would add 3 things: 1. Have a bow that can be leaved stringed or very easily stringed. Don't use gloves, you don't have time to put them on. 2. Have fast, wide nocks. This is essential to fast shooting (2-3 arrows quickly). 3. Pick a left handed bow, it's much easier to speed shot with those.

@@jcoxy1057 Trigger change to a McNally was the best thing I ever did for my Glocks. Wouldn’t own a Glock without it. Enjoying the hell out of a much better trigger. As for the barrel, enjoying the 100% reliability of shooting HC bullets.

The former owner? Oh ok...I wasn't aware that Lyn Thompson was no longer the owner of Cold Steel.🤔 I guess I'm a little "late to the game" on that one as this video is already a year old itself.
