Hey these are great, glad to see Dolmenwood being played so much to explore in this setting. How come the episodes are so short though? I've never known any D&D session to be under two hours, certainly not under one. Were these all just one session broken up afterwards? I'm curious how often you plan to run session, looking forward to a lot more Dolmenwood thanks!

We do chop up our session into smaller "bite size" episodes, as we felt they are best enjoyed that way, contrary to the norm. We will return with more episodes in Autumn, and they are already recorded. Thanks for your comments!

What was the reason for you using a different ruleset when Dolmenwood has one tailored to the setting.

@@petegiant Great question! I wanted to keep rules learning to a minimum and felt that OSE is a little on the crunchy side. I also felt combat catered towards that classic dnd tactical turn based style. Not to yuck anyones yum, but I vastly prefer the speed, narrative flair and simplicity of pbta combat, which is also particularly favourable for a podcast. I would argue I kept a lot of the fun stuff though, like class traits, magic and loot. 😊

@@Dice_Fluffers was worried you'd miss out on stuff. Anyway you're essentially still playing dnd with pbta. Your just using the reaction roll for combat instead 😀
