U R xxxxin' awesome dude. All my fear went away, did everything only to find the resin tank full of water, that after only minimal 100ml brining at all for months. I found ZERO visibility through the basket, took the brushes to both the resin basket/mushroom and to the resin tank distribution tube bottom screen, now light shines through beautifully. As an espresso fan I am also soaking them in acetic acid for 24h, OH water is hard AF. Hardest parts were disconnecting from supply and the basket stuck, unstuck it with an automotive oil filter wrench, a fond memory from my pre-EV stick shifter days.

I have a very similar cart. Was going to mount the battery with the ports facing aft and move the bulkhead that the controller is on but your install looks like it worked so I'll try that instead. I was tempted to bypass or remove the "charging computer" but not sure if the controller will still work without it. Thanks for making the video, very helpful.

If my Castile starts up and feeds pellets, ignites but doesn’t keep feeding pellets what could be the problem. If we push the reset button a few times, stove will come up to temp and the fan blower kicks in. But if we don’t hit the reset the flame will die down. Thermal coupler has been replaced. Would it be snap disc 2? If so where is that located on the Castile MBk-b

Changed canister but it still want take gas .

Run a new hose up under the hood somewhere. Placing the vent by the filler neck is the dumbest sht GM has done in a while.

Why the heck can’t the canister “inhale” air from the engine air intake, after the filter but before the MAF and throttle body. Instead it takes air from one of the dirtiest places on the vehicle.

Mine is stuck also I hope it's not the gearbox a Sprock issue will find out tomorrow. Mine also wants to twist the auger but make a slight jolt with a slight noise. A slip so i hope it's not the sprockets in the gearbox. Fingers crossed it's a clogged issue.

If you still get the comments, I have a Kenmore Elite 520 water softener and it leaked at the top and it would not stop draining. I replaced the venturi unit, the gaskets at the top, cam gear, and the motor plate and motor. This fixed the leak and the drain issue. Now, the tank fills with water at the start of the regeneration and at the end it adds several gallons of water. I check the drain and it does drain a small of amount of water. What am I missing? Thanks.

You’re supposed to push in the center of it not remove it. And the vent house is fresh air with a filter in the little cylinder. You should not hear charcoal if you do the canister is no good and should be replaced before the little pellets clog your EVAP system.

My check engine light is on on my 2019 Silverado. Changed evap solenoid and purge valve. Light is still on. Do you think this is the problem? Great video. Thanks.

FYI - the entire filter is removable, not just the top half exposing the filter inside.

So I have this unit. I also have a lot of sediment from my well. Sediment will definitely clog up the upper distributor screen in the resin tank. This creates a low flow from your taps. If badly clogged, replacement is the easy path. The other option is soaking in muriatic acid for about 30 min. Use ALL caution with muriatic acid! Rinse well. So, if you have the manual, you know that there is also a lower distribution screen at the bottom of the drop pipe. Mine was clean and did not need service. I would recommend that you do not remove the drop pipe and lower screen as it is very difficult to reinstall.
