Just picked up WW a few days ago and my god this spec is fun af! Rotation feels very engaging and motivating to improve at, cool and satisfyinf visuals, high mobility. Idc what the final numbers will say and whether the damage will be top tier, I will definetely give WW a go for TWW

On retail rn I have 30% haste and running into energy starvation and its kinda ruining all the fun

@@Pekins_ hmm yea.. you have to really watch out with not running out of energy. The spec became alot harder if you ask me. The procs can really strangly affect your rotation. But i think i got kinda got a good feeling for it now. I dont run out of energy that much anymore. But i think the first few weeks of tww will be hard...

Actually in ST its probably your 1st dps ability and in AoE just after ScK. Its become alot better in tww compared to df!

You may be clipping your FoF. Since we no longer clip FoF under any circumstances, you may want to macro in a "no cancel channel" into your chi spenders and chi builders. I did that for SCK and FoF, so I always get the full damage out of the two channeled abilities.

Your 10.2 guide is great... hopefully you're working on one for the TWW release. Also, I learn from watching your M+, but either that spell queue addon that shows with your casting or light commentary would add a lot. Thanks for making it and for representing the WW community. :)

@@connerowen4638 my 10.2 guide is still quite relevant. I will probably make a guide later in the expansion. There is still so much changing every week and the talent sims are not yet available. The 10.2 guide will still be relevant on how to do your rotation etc.

Man, can't get enough WW gameplay, though I kinda wish Spinning Crane Kick wouldn't get cancelled randomly.

@@darenoon its great fun! Since the prepatch ScK gets cancelled when you use an ability. This was not the case before. You sure you are not cancelling it yourself? I have a few macro's that help me not cancel ScK!

@@TheloniousWoW yeaa apparently abilities cancelling ScK is intentional, but it seems like my random procs just end my ScK early. Feel like my trinkets and flurry of xuen end my ScK 😔

Just picking up wind walker is the idea to run in and hit 5 separate mobs to get to 5 stacks for spinnning crane kick or do you just focus on one mob?

If you take rushing jade wind talent you can use strike of the wind lord and get an immediate 5 stack. Always use it on pull of a pack

sad but this happens every prepatch, WW looks amazing then at maxlevel its the same bs everytime.. Bugs, nerfs or just limited becuse of weak stats..

The big nerf from a few weeks ago where completely unnecessary indeed. I think the first few seasons we are going to struggle quite alot in raids due to a lack of haste (and other secondary stats). But this might change.. #copium

I didn't grind any new gear. But i put all haste gems into my gear. Also playing with 2 haste trinkets. This really helps alot!

Hello! Im new on monk and i don’t quite understand, when i should use Chi Burst spell? As i can see in details you don’t use it at all, so maybe it’s only for raids.

@@snawsdesigns hi mate! Chi Burst is no longer an ability you press. Its been remade into a passive ability. Meaning you no longer can cast it. Its does it automatically!

@@TheloniousWoW They buffed both abilities on beta, and was really hoping chi wave would be competitive because it is passive now. Sadly from my testing it is still not competitive. The good news is, Chi burst is pretty decent damage now even if it is annoying to use.

Shadowpan is terrible.. it's so out of sync .. the tracking feels terrible.. the worst hero talent tree right now.. And ww monk feels so bad to play in general.. outside of procs we starve hard on energy.. U just stand there and wait.. feels terrible.. pls reduce energy cost of tigerpalm.. or increase the reg..
