Hi, the translation project was mostly put on hold around one and a half years ago due to work or health issues of the team members and their families. We are still keen and are endeavoring to get back to it around the end of this year. Currently we are around 66-75% completed. I have all the extracted dialogs as worksheets on google where we type in our initial translations before proof-reading, polishing, and play-testing is done by alternate team members offline. Steam is actually very important for communication purposes as all team members are connected on Steam and we also have a Steam Group and Steam Group Chat Channel to keep everyone up-to-date with progress, questions, etc. We've always been a small team, never had more than three people working together on it at any given time. So, if you can help that would be great. Obviously joining us in the Steam Group would be best, but if Steam is not an option for you then I suppose you could just tick away at the untouched files on Google Sheets in your spare time?

@@danielsnell9874 Ok, no steam then, i would be happy to help as much as i could, i can barely wait to play this game already, but i don't see any Google links to files, did you post a link, i must warn you, youtube is deleting links to some sites for some reasons.

@@mihaithemystic2890 I created an introductory guide way back and maybe that might be useful? Usually I would communicate in Steam Chat. I also have a video I created once upon a time to give someone a quick look at how I approach a dialog file, since I don't read or understand Russian myself. Other team members do and correct my mistakes at later stages in the process. The files on Google Sheets are as I mentioned are just initial stages and the rest of process is done with files offline where they may have changed completely. Any dialog file that already has coloured lines means that the first stage is already completed and files have moved on (probably already in MOD now). So, only look at the files with no colour, there is not too many left as you will see. I'm planning to get back to this project at the end of the year, unless a team member sends me a file sooner.

@@danielsnell9874 Ok, i'we got what needs to be done, i just hope that who is going to do the final checks of each file translated by multiple persons will not quit the job, cause i know that i will start with the ones with no color, but what if the others will do the same files that are without color. Anyway, you will hear from me when i'm done with the thing i started, here on KZbin And another thing, i will do the work on a software that works offline, it's called WPS Office, it is even available for Android, so it will be a free time joy to delve in the mysteries of Planet Alcatraz 2, at least reading LOL.

@@mihaithemystic2890 This is why we do the initial editing of the file online on Google Sheets, because then all team members can see if someone is already working on a particular file. No one on the team will be touching the files on Google Sheet until late next year because at the end of this year we are focusing on finishing up with the northern city and testing for what will be the next public release of the MOD. Then, the final dialog files left which you see on Google Sheets is for the Fortress and few small villages which will be for the third and theoretically final MOD release at a future date.
