As a fellow Sax player good job, but honestly I really miss the tenor in some of these pieces. The trombone and the trumpet compensate the pitch difference, but to me it sounds way different. Of course I have some tenor bias :D. Very good I'm glad there are people like you which are so talented. Good Luck.

I'd probably vote neg. The Velasco evidece is just too damn good and the aff doesn't really have a response to it (and they drop their one weak response). I don't think Yemen is an issue for the aff, I think their extension of the neg's own terminal D framed out this question so I'm confused as to why everyone spent so much time on it. But the aff is probably still behind just because the Velasco evidence seems to talk about the region as a whole and the aff isn't really generating anything that outweighs that. Granting the aff Turkey/Kurds would be a stretch since they just say we have a lot of leverage over them but don't really warrant out how that's the case or how a pivot in diplomacy might force Turkey to change something. Even if I gave it to them, they just say that that that conflict is helping to keep ISIS in check but to what extent? Even if i buy that the aff's negotiations specifically in Turkey would help to check back ISIS, the neg seems to have in roads to solving more terrorism across the entirety of west asia whereas the aff at best has weak links to solving it in specifically one region/conflict Who actually won this round? On tabroom it says 3-0 for the aff but here it says 3-0 for Princeton on the neg?

Definitely disagree about the velasco evidence, I don’t think saying regional alliances are 7x more likely to craft agreements actually matters without contextualization to where and how the regional alliances are going to form. Essentially, in a lot of these debates the neg just says regionalism works everywhere all the sudden when the aff says US specifically solves in a few key areas and gives more solvency ev for it (as least should). But I think neg should have to meet the same standard for proving they will solve a particular conflict or else aff is just more likely to solve, even if they lose that they’re form of diplomacy is generally “bad”, they still solve for a bigger impact
