I didnot even know that Jerry Lee Lewis had a sister (does she appear in his biopic movies?). And her Wiki entry is JUST ONE SINGLE page. Somehow she was entirely overrun by her media prancing and scandal ridden brother all these years. I saw a flood of her entire recordings on Usenet and am curious about the huge amount she seems to have published over all these years, still downloading. Obviously she plays the same hammering and rather simple 'Jerry Lee' Rock'n'Roll style as seen here. I hope that she could/can do more than that. Real Boogie Woogie sounds different, has way more swing and syncopation, tricky licks and right hand eloquence. But anyways it is nice to see yet another 'gal' in the boogie league, mostly dominated by strong and talented black jazz pianists like Ammons, Lewis, Johnson, Yancey, Price etc. But then: there was a Camille Howard, a Marylou WIlliams, a Cleo Brown.. Boogie on!
