At least Light helped the world😔 it’s very symbolic to have light die in the middle of the stairs representing that light will neither go to heaven or hell

After watching death notes final episode, i remember standing up from my chair , laying in bed looking at the ceiling, trying not to burst on tears after watching its last scene .This episode felt different but man , watching Misa in the train sitting alone not smiling , just hits different . So sad . More than 10 years have past since i first watched death note . I still believe is a gem.

most tragic ending in death note and Near won. To be honest I wanted the death note anime season longer and give good ending by not killing Light yagami. But I always liked Light yagami Iq and I want him to die i wish he was alived. this music makes me cry everyday and forces to me to watch again but however one thing I am hapy is there another season of it relight.

Now that I watch this…. video… Light.. never paid a chance in fact of what he had against … around him.. He died of natural causes , fear , Etc. not of some notebook..

Both endings were good but I feel like the manga ending was what Light deserved for killing innocent people along the way. Dying in desperation and despair, and getting killed mercilessly by the one he thought was his companion kinda made up for his crime.

Manga one felt more like justice was served and ironic. Anime felt more... tragic. You don't feel bad for him in the sense of what he's become: sneaky, manipulative, sadistic, selfish, god complex, even being the cause of his own father's death, but showing in run past the regular college student version of him reading as he walks by makes me feel like this was more of a traditional tragedy. The "tragic hero" displays a tragic fall because of the main character's tragic flaw. In this case, it was Light's ego and self-righteousness mixed picking up the death note that got the best of him. Running past his "could have been self" puts into perspective the reality that had Light never found the Death Note, he could have been staying true to his ideals of trying to fight for a more just world by becoming an incredible detective for the police, on the same level as L. We see this too in the sense that no one had ever matched L in wits, and L admits that in another life, he could have seen them as being friends if they weren't enemies. The tragic irony for me is that these two never even needed to be against each other in the first place since it was a battle against methods for enacting justice. In other words, Light was the top student in Japan. He was brilliant and had a strong sense of wanting to make the world a better place, and had he gone on to finishing high school and college normally, he could have easily made his way up the police force and then some, taking on the world's most notorious criminals. For him to run past that version of him really hurt me for some reason. I don't feel bad for the person he died as, but I do feel bad for the person he could have been.

En fin light parece que has perdido, recuerdas que cuando nos conocimos, te dije que yo escribiria tu nombre en mi libreta, es una de las reglas que hay cuando un shinigami deja caer una libreta al mundo humano y del primer humano que la recoja, bien light fue divertido mientras duro, ambos hicimos llevadero nuestro aburrimiento pero se terminó morirás aquí.
