Hi, Great video and I like your technique. Watching your videos, as an artist you inspire me to start making lures and I wanted to ask you can I use something else instead the oil glue that you coated the lure with finger in the first layer and what kind of colors I can use? Thank you very much, sir😀🙏. Of course, you can use any kind of varnish. You can also paint it with a regular marker. Lures made of plastic don’t even need protection if you’re in a hurry to go fishing 😀 Check out more videos on my channel 😀🙏

Not sure what you should call it, but a suggestion. When you are applying the pearlescent foil and mucking around with glue and drying it etc, there are pearl tinsels on spools made for fly tying, it would be much easier for you to wind that on.

just tried posting a link but seems to be deleted. Just search up fly tying pearl tinsel or pearl mylar. It comes in different colors different pearls and silver and gold, probably more...) and will make this much easier for you.

and further, you can use different color threads under the pearl to give different effects. I really like a flourescent pink or orange, but the world is your oyster.

But the price of UV resin is not high, for ten dollars you can buy 100-200ml of resin. One such lure requires 10 milliliters 😀

I made something similar for ice fishing, but the glowstick needs heat to glow. Mine stoped glowing in the icecold water. Have you got any fish on it? Nice work!
