Sorry. There are no houses for rent! The Lease Agreement prohibits renting or subletting homes. All the homes are owner occupied.

Beautiful home. This would have been a Holly Park home. Holly Park was one of the high end brands of the 1960s and '70s, and was considered extremely well-built at the time, as they usually had solid REAL wood paneling throughout (not fiberboard) and real oak kitchen cabinets, and that kitchen bay window setup on the front of the home was one of their trademark features. I love that most of the original features are still there, and in such great condition. Someone took extremely good care of this home for many years. If it were mine, I would try to keep as much of the original interior features as possible. Some Danish Oil would condition the wood paneling and bring out the patina.

It is not HGTV. This is an original trailer home from the 1970s. Looks in great condition for its age. Paint is your friend if you do not like the wood.

We do too! Each lot is different. Some have grass and some have stone depending on water runoff needs and occasionally the buyers request.

@edisonmobileestates oh I'm sure. I'm in Ky and the price that I stated was many years ago. But it has been since the vinyl siding was being used. When will they ever come down, or will it??? Is this just gonna be the norm now??.

When they added the vinyl siding was 1976; that was the year homes were standardized across the country to conform to the Federal government HUD code. Thereafter home buyers could be assured of the quality of construction was more like a year round home than a seasonal RV. It's a fascinating history that our manufactured housing's roots are from the travel trailer era and have evolved considerably!

@edisonmobileestates man I'll say. The vinyl siding. I didn't realize they had been doing it that long. My mother bought one in 1974. I think it was 12x60 I think but not certain and if not mistaken I think she give around 5k for it. That was new. It was the aluminum siding. I think I heard that the homes up north was built with a little better quality. I mean, they looked nice for the time. Paneling was big in those days all through it. There for sure built a lot better today then back then. I seriously don't think a wall in it had a 2x4. If one ever caught fire in those days, it was about like burning a paper bag. I can't remember seeing vinyl siding on mobile homes around here back then. But that doesn't mean they wasn't else where.

For the record we love Kentucky! We were there for a month this summer. It was lovely to see mobile homes and manufactured homes dotting the countryside. It shows a commitment to affordable housing! Very impressive! Less communities and more independent land owners! We love the Red River Gorge area!! And Kentucky people are incredibly friendly! God bless them!

Hi Maria I've one concern regarding manufactured home land owners. Recently someone told me that a friend of theirs had to move their home off a manufactured home property because the land owners sold the land to an investor. This is one reason why I hesitate in purchasing a manufactured home. How can one be sure that down the road the land isn't going to be sold to someone who wants to build affordable housing on it Or something else.

Our community is zoned for manufactured homes. No investor could ever change the designation. Our family has owned the community for nearly 50 years. We have no intention of selling to an investor.

Hello Maria. This is a very nice home. Is this the first home that you built that has both doors on the left side of the home? Seemed odd when home was entering the park. 🤔😂

All the homes require two doors. According to the HUD there has to be a second door near the bedroom as an emergency exit. However when we design a house we place both doors on the same side for privacy. Thus both doors exit to the homeowners lot rather than a neighbors lot behind them.

That is a lot of money for manufacturer home with no acreage and will be a dump in less than 10 years. I bought my house for 90,000 dollars and it is brick home with 2 baths and 3 bedrooms. and for 20,000 dollars more, i got 4 acres of land with it. I dont have any neighbors next to me.

The price is actually excellent. Considering the cost of land & Location. And also land is at a premium too in the New Jersey and also surrounding areas. You’re definitely getting a lot here. At the end of the day, though.. this will definitely be the right home for the right person or small family . Such a cozy home. You can definitely tell it’s been very well cared for.😊❤️🥰

I loved seeing those two ladies sitting out in their lawn chairs watching the show! I live in a 55+ mobile home park, and I guarantee you that we would have done the same exact thing! I’m 61 and the woman across the street from me is 62, so we’re the “youngsters” out here. Everyone around us ranges in age from 82 to 95, so we try to look out for & help them whenever we can. We have the absolute best neighbors ever here on our street. A couple years ago during the eclipse, we had a neighborhood party! The woman across the street brought out a cart with carafes of coffee, sugar & creamer, etc, and cinnamon rolls. Everybody got their lawn chairs out & we all sat/stood around visiting, drinking coffee and watching the eclipse. We had a few pairs of eclipse glasses, and some had made their own viewers, and it was so much fun!! Our street is the envy of the park because we have a great time together! I wouldn’t trade where I live for anything! I love my mobile home, and I’m never moving. ❤️ Thank you for sharing the move, I love watching these big homes come in. It’s so interesting to watch how those guys maneuver them around; I’d be a nervous wreck!!

That's not how it works. Each lot is measured. Each tenant has to apply. And cash doesn't change anything. It's not like you are buying a house. We have to be accountable for our inventory. Cash does not change the price. We still have to put it in the bank. Our least expensive home at this time is $62,000.

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years and as a born and raise Native New Yorker, who now lives in the west coast, I would love to retire back east but as prices are so expensive in NYC, the next best and closest to NYC would be Edison, NJ. I would love to maybe one day be a proud owner of one of these homes because of how much care you and your husband show for these homes and the properties that the Dolan family owns.
