A couple years ago I purchased the original 7-1 I had a sizing issue, do you have advise on the best way to size the 7-1 pro? Haukland was great and let me return the jacket and gave me a full refund. At the time the largest size they made was the XXL. I am a large guy 6'2" and 270 lbs. I only ask about sizing as the charts they have don't make a lot of sense as the Germans measure a bit different.
@FifthNorth7 күн бұрын
The sizing to me is exactly the same as the original, for reference if it helps, im 6 foot 215 lbs and I wear a XL. I also normally wear a CL in other clothes like hoodies and t-shirts.

Depends on how big, the depth of the camera compartment is just shy of 5.5 inches, so depending on how big your grip is. I have no issue fitting my A7RIV with a pinky extender in the bag, still room to spare.

subbed but honda makes the best bikes (question) why ya in 3rd on the highway lol that thing will flip on ya cruse in 6th lol be safe
@FifthNorth19 күн бұрын
@@SomeDude...... well…kind of a silly reason really, cruising in 6th makes the bike fairly quiet which makes for much more boring videos, plus when a bike makes minimal sound the mics choose to focus on wind noise unfortunately, so lots of times when im recording ill be in technically “the wrong gear” to get extra sound for the mics.

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

But I don't want to spend that much money right now and the kislux always gets me the bag I want and it's just as good as the LV and one of my favorites. Durability

@cjwittmeyer25 күн бұрын
Dude, I agree with so many of the other comments. You stated that you like high revving engines and you're comfortable in the high rev range. That was apparent in your video as you never got our of 4th gear. That being said the very design of this bike and a low revving engine is to cruise IN LOW REVS. You fuel consumption would be cut in half. I am thinking this bike is not for you
@FifthNorth18 күн бұрын
Agreed, it's not my bike, but rather a bike I had borrowed for review, you are right, not my usual style, as for staying in 4th, that's by design, it makes better noises for the video that way, when I was cruising in the "correct" gears, it was too quiet for my mics to pick up so the mics would just focus on wind noise. And yes, MPG def would have been better in the right gear. Thanks for watching.

CoC springer seat is an essential mod. The bike becomes as comfy as your grandma’s arm chair. No need to buy upgraded shock or gel seats etc. believe me, I wasted loads of money trying to improve comfort for long rides. Engine bars with highway pegs fitted for stretching your legs on the long straight ish roads but keeping the mid pegs for town and bendy roads. I raised the bars up and back an inch to suite my posture. I find the lights good enough but extra spotlights could be fitted if you need them. It rains a lot and is nearly always cold here so I fitted an Givi A31 screen that isn’t too ugly but makes riding easier in the winter.

No gas gauge is annoying. My Monster doesn't have one and apparently some bikes with weird shaped tanks where engineering a good one would be tough (might as well save the weight?). You still get a low fuel warning of some kind on bikes like that i think.
@FifthNorthАй бұрын
@@calebhoo4193 yeah its super annoying! Yeah you do get a low fuel/reserve warning light but a gauge is just better, if im leaving the house and I know i have a 60-100 mile ride its nice to know that im at a 1/4 tank for example and should get gas before I leave. Thanks for watching!

Its necessary to install everything that came with the kit, hit up Motodynamic and they can help you troubleshoot, only thing I know for sure is that for the flashing brake light there is a setting you have to make sure is turned on and also that this kit wont work with certain LED lights on the front.
