Masterpiece. Paul means the spirit of rock'n'roll. Period.

Because of this, I now know how much it had cost to record an album at Philips Recording Studios in 1980. It was $80 bucks an hour.

I absolutely love this album and I couldn’t find it anywhere!! It used to be on Spotify, but it’s now deleted ☹️ I almost couldn’t even remember what the band was called. I had a panic moment 🥲

By any chance, do you have the rest of this album anywhere or know where I can buy it? I’d hate for it to be lost forever. It seems like it’s disappearing from the internet all together.

No Doubt Paul is the best! I insulted him on his bus at the 930 club in 2002 for not bringing a band. My Karma got me bad that night. I went to get my Washington Post truck to drop my all night route after that concert and someone smashed out my windows and stole $100 in quarters I used to open the vending machines on my Georgetown route. Sorry Paul, you made up for it in 2005 with a band at the 930!

Ditto, also the lyrics are a bit more legible and this is a great song lyrically. Honestly it fits the song more in a sardonic way.

I am SO glad to read the comments on this gem. For me, this is the best Paul ever gave us. Replacements or solo. Sums up everything and expresses exactly what I feel on certain days when enough is enough. If you ever read this Paul, I hope you feel the graciousness from all of us out here. Please keep rockin' out in the basement and do what you do, you rock and roll ghost.
