Why MAGA, I feel there is no place for that; unless that’s who you are.

It's a great kit, and it's a big improvement over the very old Revell kit from the late 60's, which it replaced.

You talk about the 90's as though they were ancient history - back in the mid-sixties, AMT made some incredible car kits in 1/24th scale, especially the Ford GT40, that would still be state of the art today.

Very nice with just one small complaint. I really wish the canopy went further back into the airframe. It makes clean up and cleaning up any gaps so much easier with less chance of scratches

Rotor heads and blades look great. These „rivets“ are way too pronounced. I spotted quite a lot of flash, especially on the smaller parts. ICM already produced better quality, IMHO.
@crash3446Күн бұрын
yea i was wondering too if the rivets just look so pronounced on video or if they really are sticking out that much, looks like they could use some filing down

It’s beautiful enough to make me interested in building a helo, and that’s saying something! Bless the folks at ICM for doing this incredible work in the midst of all the chaos. And thanks for the videos. There’s so much work that goes into making a video review that actually gives you a feel for the plastic. I deeply appreciate what you do!

Just finished ICM's O-2A Cessna Skymaster, wich was a challeging build. Lots of small parts and fiddly assemble steps. The main gear is to weak to carry the weight of the model and the lead that you need to not end up with a tail-sitter. I might get this one as soon as it is released as regular army version.

Every time I see the open ejection ports on a WW II aircraft model, I wonder if anyone on the ground was ever injured or killed by 50BMG or 20mm cannon shells falling to the ground from 25-30 thousand feet?
@rrhine6 күн бұрын
Probably more than you’d think. There’s actually a US Navy film from WW 2 warning pilots not to ready their machine guns over urban locations, lest an ejected round fall from the skies and kill someone. I think the title had something to do with being a dilbert.

A great video like all the ones you make thanks!!!! but I have to comment something about this particular model The construction of the model is very comfortable. The fit is good. But the decals (printed in korea) are a real hell. Horrible. If you find them from cartograf, buy them. I don't know if the gentlemen from Academy will be upset, but I'm sorry, it's the truth.

Never subscribed because of that awful loud music and no commentary. I get that not every one is a native English speaker, I'm not one either. But there are so many great modelers out there that are non-native and yet they provide great commentary and explanations.

Dragon's Bf. 110 is obsoleted, outdated as for nowadays time and has some geometry issues accompanied by a number of simplifications. I see no reason to buy it having nearly perfect Eduard's one.
@martinslovak60947 күн бұрын
Would you mind describing the geometry issues / simplifications? - I have both the Dragon 110D and Eduard 110E and can't see any difference side by side (that are not specific to the versions of course) - for me, the Dragon kit was a more relaxing build and the end result looks about the same The Eduard cockpit is a mess with all the PE and details that you have to add and that will never be seen / are unreasonable (my opinion only) The Eduard decals vs Cartograph decals in Dragon kit is a separate topic (I do'n t mind any of those but some might have their preferences) The rivet detail sucks on both of them since you need to make about 80% of the rivets yourselves anyways You can change the flap / elevator / tail angle on Dragon, not on Eduard (unless you cut it all off yourself) Eduard PE - I found it unusable beacuse of the color matching (in cokpit), otherwise there is not much of it...although my kit was produced in 2012 No engines in Eduard kit Feel free to tell me, that I am wrong (if you think so). Thanks in forward P.S.: The fun part is that you say the Dragon kit is obsolete while it is 3 years newer then the Eduard one (atleast the base parts are)
@gadeeshi7 күн бұрын
@@martinslovak6094 The most prominent shape issues in Dragon kit are: slightly wrong nose section shape and cross-sections, fuselage tail part is slightly wrong, wrong shape and size of wing engine cooler radiators. For Dackelbauch: wrong shape of belly tank (especially in rear section). Not very critical, but they exist. Dragon kit also has molding quality issues (very characteristic for Dragon). Eduard decals over Dragon ones are the same quality but Eduard has much more options and full stencil data (Dragon one is very bare). Eduard cockpit is MUCH more detailed and much more accurate than Dragon ones.
@martinslovak60947 күн бұрын
@@gadeeshi thanks for the answer - those points are valid for sure (I used Quinta for Dragon cockpit as my first test of 3d decals, those are great...and in that case I am biased for sure)
