HI Peter, I'm sure you don't remember me but we were in Mrs. Rices' class in 2nd grade and a few others.. ( Mr. Ostrikers English at Cardozo etc.) I remember being 7 years old and thinking how amazing you were. You could, sing, write, act, read, as if you were born to do it. I still remember how you affected my 7 year old mind, and so pleased to see you looking so well.

The last 5 years is probably my favorite score of his, and I just saw the revival of parade earlier this week. I’m fascinated by how he can do song transitions soo smoothly, and just use all these different types of instruments and techniques to portray characters in his work. Parade was soo incredible, and I really hope to see more of his work live and in person ❤

I studied with Stella. Fully understanding the playwright's intentions is critical to good acting.

The hand-puppet says the following: To obtain the *strongest* legal protection, and whether your work is published or not, quickly register it with the US Copyright Office (USCO), and certainly *BEFORE* you start licensing, selling, sharing, or *“shopping it”* around to Hollywood producers, publishers, clients, agents, attorneys, and others. Your timely registered work is your presumptive legal proof of your copyright authorship. The hand-puppet also says: If you enjoy having problems & headaches in life, SKIP registering your creative work with the USCO.

If you're distributing, sharing, licensing, or selling your works, *timely”* (IMMEDIATELY) register them with the US Copyright Office (USCO), and certainly no later than three-months of their first-date of publication to preserve your full legal rights. It’s NOT necessarily your un-published manuscript (work) or RAW/original file that helps prove your copyright creation. Instead, a federal judge MUST see your issued copyright *“Certificate of Registration”* that the USCO will mail you - your Certificate is your *“presumptive legal evidence”* of your copyright authorship (creation) & copyright ownership claims. Your *Effected Date of Registration,”* that will be listed on your Certificate, will be your official US government (USCO) date stamp, aka, your copyright PROOF.

4:40 *Copyright Registration Fees:* As of August 24, 2022, the current fee to register ONE work using the on-line (eCO) copyright registration application is either $45 or $65. *“Single Application”:* The fee to register ONE un-/published work (like one play or one book or one illustration or one photograph or one painting or one cartoon or one poem, etc.) with ONE author who’s the SAME copyright claimant, that’s NOT a-work-for-hire project, and that does NOT include any third-party creative media, is $45 -- you MUST have created the ENTIRE work yourself! See www.copyright.gov/circs/circ11.pdf and kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5ylmoOHg6mJeMU Otherwise, to register a single un-/published work with multiple authors, and/or as a derivative/collective work, and/or that includes Creative Commons, Public Domain, and/or licensed media, etc., the fee is $65. Use the “Standard Application” (on-line eCO application): kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJixnKapisuMl9U If you’re registering one music composition where you’re the sole author, you can also register its corresponding sound-recording if you’re the sole person making/performing on the recording, by using the $45 Single Application. *"Un-Published Similar Works": * To register a group from 2 to 10 UN-published works from the SAME category type, like visual arts (un-published drawings, un-published illustrations, un-published paintings, un-published sculptures) the fee is $85 total (not $85 for each work being registered). See the tutorial *“Group Registration of Unpublished Works” (GRUW):* www.copyright.gov/gruw/ and kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4OUZZyJgpmYqbM Using the GRUW application, you can also register up to TEN un-published song compositions AND their corresponding un-published sound-recordings (up to 20 total) for the same $85 fee.

How true was it that an hip hop musical would be the only way to tell Alexander Hamilton story.

Lydia, I am so incredibly proud of you! Your body of work is amazing and prolific. It's wonderful to see your face after 30 years - and I must say that you look exactly the same - smart, elegant, ageless and beautiful. Congratulations on your success!!! You truly deserve it! -Chuck
