You need to wrap the belt round the gear you will never get it to work without problems like that lol nice try though

Aerosmith from XSimulator suggested a rope wrapped around the potentiometer instead of a strap. I like the idea. I will test that on one of my actuator.

Buy a mig welder, weld steel/aluminum frame. Its much easier than making wood frames.

Easier?... I'm already pretty bad with wood. If I had metal into the mix, I may kill myself. I like to build and destroy fast. Wood is great for that.

Look for LED Power Supply. They are great and powerful (at least, they used to be). Mine is 24V, 12.5A. Good luck.

The e30-150 asks for more, right? I was planning to go with 24v 40a 1000w? not having a battery and sabertooth, otherwise it would be a problem on my 12.5a installation 😅😨

You are right. It is noisy as hell. I was thinking about putting some material between the actuator and the wood in hope to reduce the sound propagation a little bit.

Maybe, maybe not. The potentiometer is quite cheap and the precision is not at its best. But I will look into those two possible reasons for the constant readjustment.
