This was my aunt, by marriage. Her sister was married to my late grandfather, Oscar Brooks. I remember her very well, growing up. The first time I ever heard her sing, was at her mother's funeral when I was still a child. This was such a beautiful service...

Bless her, she more than deserves to be in other halls of fame, too. She has entertained my daughters, wife and me for over30 years with her perfect voice and wonderful songwriting.
