Orlando Jones, was fired because, of his role in playing Anansi the African trickster god. The performance he gave while playing Anansi on the Dutch slave ship, made the white producers scared that Orlando character was giving black peoples the right message about how white American people have and will treat blacks in America. What the white producers seem to not understand is that this is how all FBA-Afro Americans feel about our treatment in America, it’s just right under the surface.
