These are great, both my Panama Blonde and Trinidad Chevron have gone from the mediums, to large. Only thing this video doesn't mention is it your probably looking at 15-20 minutes to peel all the plastic off!

How big are the air holes? Would this be ok for a 3cm sling?

I heard that if a spider lays an egg in Port Talbot that the air makes it becomes one of these.

I had one of these (from the spider shop) as a spiderling, turned out to be a female. It grew so fast in the 18 months i had it and was my second favourite T, behind my Grammostola. Pulchra. I had a collection of 12 T's all bought from the spider shop, and luckily enough, all turned out to be female, apart from one Brachypelma. Hamorii, which was obviously male. I had to get rid of them all a few months back, after 4 years in the hobby. I eventually suffered terrible allergic reactions, to the hairs from NW species, my hands used to blister up and itch like hell, even just being careful opening the enclosures at feeding time. Cleaning out the left over insect carcasses and changing water bowls became painfull. It is strange, because it never effected me at first. I keep thinking about getting in to old world species, i think i have just enough experience to start, but have never got around to it. Maybe some day soon i may purchase a ceratogyrus species as a starter.

Does the spider need a heat mat? And if so how do u place it please xx
@Piecekidd3 ай бұрын
My boss is making me look after a spider. Sad times, don't care much for them. Good video though. Fair didn't know to put the heat mat on the side. Good tip!😊

The mexican red knee and it's genus. Best pet tarantulas of all time. I'm back in the hobby for a third time now having regret rehoming my last collection, especially my brachypelma hamori. I now own an adult b..hamori and recently acquired another which turned out to be an immature male having sexed it's recently molted skin. I definitely want to get my hands on another female . They are just so gorgeous 😍

My Acanthoscurria geniculata I got from you beginning of the year as a tiny spiderling has grown so fast. I've just rehomed it into a larger enclosure today. Fascinating watching it stalk and kill crickets. Super fast. Loves to eat. I can't believe how fast it has grown in less than a year.

hi do you do a more expensive starter kit with an exo terra set up some of us have money to burn lol and show the correct way to set up an exo terra or is it because you don't sell the exo terra enclosures just wondering and i would like to add everything you have sold me is still going 4 years later so please everyone don't hesitate to use spider shop they are first rate in my experience with there Tarantula's

Very cool kit, but you should mention that enclosure is too small and shallow for a milipede of that size

I have the small ones, and after 6 months i have question.. How to open it if you have spiders with one making a lot of web around? I need to destroy their nest every time because its impossible to make some cleaning without opening😢 And you are recommending it for Caribena Verisicolor..How can i clean it for my l5 beauty? Im asking because i need to change it for bigger one and im thinking is that good choice

Hello! Thank you for the informative video! I am curious if you could tell me a little more detail about the substrate mix you made for this spider. We have sand and soil but aren't sure how much to use of each. Thank you in advance!

Thanks Jezza! Great video 👏🏻Just rehomed my limpopo following your advice. I used the same cube, used 75% desert sand 25% topsoil mix covered with crumbled leaf litter and filled with twigs for anchor points. Only problem is her camouflage is so good it's hard to see her in there 😂

I made mine with a lot of pain because it didn’t all fit together and then right at the end you say if it doesn’t fit, switch the floor around 😭😭 now I’ve got an almost complete enclosure with a gap running down the side and the rubber bands are too hard to undo
