Interesting, I'm 200 pounds and put cushcore in from new , zero issues , either your unlucky or I'm lucky but tbh your not the first person to have this issue . Great bike though 😊

Tbh it's totally different. I'm very surprised tbh. I reckon the best way to describe how they are is RR is trail . XR enduro . Hope that helps. Between the two . I'd absolutely choose the XR . The ohlins is also a game changer 😊

@thereal_razorborg7183 That's excellent help, thank you. As I mentioned the RR felt really great, but I just wanted the front to be a tad slacker on descents. Tbh I like the ohlins , it feels more hardcore like it'll be better at bpw for instance, both great bikes but out of the two I like this better . Plus it doesn't break down 🤣🤣

@@thereal_razorborg7183 I have the mondraker chaser R 2022 , love it, mine has the smart system as well, the ranges when I first got it were all over the place, now on a full charge eco mileage range starts at 92 miles ! Had a fault on the cadence sensor a couple weeks ago, Bosch replaced the motor. Like a new bike now ! Get yourself up the Lake District for a pedal

No clue as to why tbh. But it's not good being stranded with a heavy bike and no power. Most people are saying a new motor cures it, all I know is we shouldn't be the Guinea pigs having to test this system imo 🙈🙈

@@thereal_razorborg7183 agreed. I know 5 people now in the last mth who this has happened too incl me who had done 1800 trouble free miles so has to be software for all to happen to everyone in a short space of time 😭

@@shannonmtb can software be sorted with updates though , local MTB shop assures me hardly any issues , I must have been unlucky 🙈 still can't get nav to work on it properly 🤣🤣

Tbh I've heard from a lot of people that it all stems from the motor, once that's replaced it cures it, seems like it's the expensive option for Bosch to me though . And got the new one already. Had an eBike for 2 years , first was an Orbea wild Hard tail. I’m from the Lake District and these e-bikes have been game changer for me , I get all over the place on it with friends or on my own . Love just exploring places I’d never get to. I guess like most things, they have problems, but they are good for folk who want to get out and about on the hills or just getting about. @TheReal_ Razorborg @TheReal_ Razorborg it hasn't been fixed yet. Was told by the bike shop the fix was coming 20th march. Bosch wouldn't give me a date for the fix or a straight answer about whether the mileage can be wound back but other posts suggest not. I did ask how they managed to release an update without checking if it worked but they just got snarky and wouldn't answer. As far as they're concerned the motor works and it doesn't affect actual speed therefore it's not an issue. My first experience of E bikes and bosch, not impressed at all

@@stormchaser2005 well I've got mine back. Changed controller cable, wires from battery to motor, charging port and cables. The charging plug now Clips in. First ride no issues, second ride, your motor has shut down unexpectedly, contact your dealer, although I didn't have any issues, mind system didn't work. Day three today 😳

@TheReal_ Razorborg I think we are beta testers for their new system. I love the bike but I have little confidence that any issues will be addressed. Maybe they will fix the mileage issue and and break everything else. People are paying thousands for bikes that don't work properly straight out of the box. Retailers know this and say nothing and bosch couldn't be less interested. Its not just trek bikes either 🤦‍♀️

@@thereal_razorborg7183I’m interested in your opinion on the battery too as am I right in thinking you can’t remove it from the frame? (It has to be charged by having the whole bike plugged in). Could be a bit of a problem for me that as not sure I have the space in the house to leave the bike sat there charging. How does it take to fully charge by the way?

@@boomjunkie that's correct . It can't be removed , also you get the same model as me the mind system needs charging, front and rear with a c cable. I'm lucky enough to keep mine inside but have to be careful on my trips away . Charging isn't fast tbh so I'd be inclined to leave it overnight if possible , alternative would be a long extension lead . 👍

Hi Lazarus . No clue about range yet , I'm in UK and it's snow rain and mud so not had enough riding yet. I'm going to get it changed for turbo when I go back to the shop though. Best of every world then. Auto middle setting feels v fast though 😁😁

I’m in uk as well, got a few videos on my channel . I’m up near the lakes, grizedale Forrest , Coniston , etc I think my eco mode range at 100% is about 86 miles. Really like my mondraker . Had a Orbea Wild , Hard tail for 1 year, never thought I’d enjoy getting as much as I do, so opted for a full Sus, best thing I’ve bought in years . Me and the lads from work get out every week….. and always involves a pub stop 😊

Auto can replace any mode. I swapped out Tour+.

Tbh still getting used to it . Getting magura mt7 brakes on it next week. Bars are rotating when done up.tight so getting that sorted. Best thing is change of direction is phenomenal 😁 I'll do an update soon bomble 👍
