I know I am two years to late for this video but in turkey we still call the bishop "fil", which is an arabic word for elephant but we also use it in our vocabulary. We also call the nowadays queen "vezir" which is the minister of the sultan (in definition) and we call the knight "at" which just means horse.

@@ChessMess Pure coincidence tbh. I was more looking at the chess side (was curious the best way to cheaply win and found this video independently through search), but I am psychic like that and yeah... come to think about it, it's freaky I stumbled upon this video around the exact date of 5th November... MIND BLOWN (but not really cause it happens to me all the time). But I'm glad you got to witness this synchronicity, meaning something changed within my future timeline... or maybe I was Guy Fawkes in a previous life? Didn't even know you guys celebrated a day after him until looking him up after initially watching this video. I find that weird since he represents Anonymous and anti-establishment, but to me he seems like a bit of a failure and got ratted out, then brutally tortured and executed, kinda feel sorry for the guy, and personally don't see so much reason for his idolization. I would've preferred he succeeded in his plans and blew those aristocrats, the king/queen, everybody to hell. His chess openings speak to the fact he was against the grain. I too have gotten mated a couple of times like that using the Barnes. Perhaps why I find this video so amusing. I can imagine it happening at the time, with the whole crowd erupting in laughter and mockery. I'm sure he was popular with his comrades.

2:34 Wazeer is just an other word for Queen. We do not consider Wazeer وزير as any piece other than the queen. So Wazeer may be translated in English as Minister the Queen is called as Wazeer in Arabic , Persian , Sindhi. Pushtu and Urdu. Please clarify these things in an other video.

Your video's Overview, Title, Description, Social, Checklist, and SEO options are not correct, so your videos are not ranking well. Nice video, thanks man!! I hope you will make others on Shatranj subjects... However I can't hold some criticism. I mean, I have been playing Shatranj for 3 years (almost every day) and I can tell you some of the lines suggested in this video are debatable (or even wrong). Most noticeable: if you lose a Horse the game is over, you can resign; while if you lose an Elephant you can still largely achieve a draw.
