I got duped on mecari when cordless senior was fairly new. It was actually the wahl 1919 . As far as the dupe i received i could tell was by motor. Because when you switch it off the motor didn't stop running right away. I had the magic clip at the same time so i could tell the seinor i got was fake. I disputed it on mecari and they sided with my case.

Just buy them from the Wahl site or a certified dealer and you don’t have to worry about it. If you see a name brand for half the price from a seller you don’t know then it may be fake.

Thanks for this video. I was just thinking about buying a couple of these cordless WAHL Seniors and now I'm kind wondering if I want to get them. I found a supply place in Florida that has three physical walk-in stores. They have one in St. Petersburg and two in Tampa. Their regular price shows $179.99 and they have them marked down to $109.99. They show the SKU is 8504 but it doesn't have a dash or any other numbers after that. The box they show that the clipper is in does have a red line under where it says ZERO - OVERLAP BLADES in the top right hand corner. On WAHL's website it shows the SKU as 08504-400. I'm hesitant to buy them after watching your video. I'm going to call WAHL and ask them if this supply house is a certified seller of their products.

Good luck. I am guessing Wahl wont be very helpful and just because they tell you they are not a certified seller, doesn't mean that the product isn't legit. Nice that there is a walk in store with that price. I would open it up in the store to inspect it

Beacon you sumovabich, amazing tutorial for this. Bought this back in 2016 with plans to use for car audio install but didn't use it until now lol. Low and behold, major use for it was going to be for heat shrink but this thing was just full blasting until now. Thanks again!

Why even bother taking the radiator shroud off the starter will slip right out of the bottom of the car without removing anything it's literally a 10-minute job

Just removed a 2006 Sonata 3.3. Went ok, but hardest part is twisting and turning the starter to find the sweet spot where it comes out. I did remove the motor mount horizontal bolt/nut for that extra 1/4" clearance.

You don't have to remove the fan, although I'm sure extra space makes it less awkward. It's sufficient to disconnect the fan connector, it's in the way when you're wiggling the starter out. Corolla '05.

2005 Corolla, manual trans. Watched another video. Guy pissed and moaned about the right-side bolt, and the angle he shot the video at seemed to support that. BRIGHT LIGHT IS YOUR FRIEND. When got a look at that bolt, it seemed further out than it looked on his video. In and out, exactly this same way, in 30 minutes, with cleaning the bolt threads w/ WD40 washing my hands. Wish I'd seen this first. Great video, thank you.

Thanks, (2006 sonata LX 3.3) replaced my starter with a new one without issue. I noticed many comments saying the starter was hard to fit with the shield. It wasn’t bad. I just had to angle it just right - gear end up and pull out at an upward angle. Install in the same fashion. It went very smooth. No need to cut or install without the shield guys!

I bought a new interstate battery for my current 2012 chrysler 200. The battery was $160 and only lasted two years. Never again. Walmart has a good warranty. Plus they have national seven days a week service. I wish Autozone Duralast had the same service. I have had two duralast batteries. I never had a duralast that did not last seven years. Expensive batteries are no better and sometimes worse. Imo

Thanks for the tutorial. I was finding it impossible to get the new one back in. I took off the heat shield and the starter was pretty easy to work in, but the I couldn't slide in the heat shield to install it. So... I took a grinder and cut off a small triangle from the side of it by the screw on the back. This was just enough for me to slide the heat shield up from below and install the nuts and bolts to protect the starter and wires.

Well I tried this hack or repair and it did not fix the problem ,however if unscrew the plastic shell nut and lift this assembly off .The torch lites fast but as I lower this assembly back down it snuffs out the flame.

Worked perfectly for me on a 2007 4dr. Knowing it was super easy to move the fan and make room for a fumble fingers like me, made it much easier. I'm a slow poke working on cars, and took my time to make sure I didn't damage the electrical connector etc, I was still able to do it myself despite. Thanks for the clear, concise instructions.
