During my childhood i was there (Camiguin) and what a surprise for me now upon seing this video. Wow, how i miss Camiguin where i heard when I'm a little boy, they called it the Paradise Island. And some says Camiguin means "Come-again". Now i am old but hoping to visit Camiguin some time....soon. Thank you for uploading Camiguin.

Trickery. In magic shows, it refers to sleight of hand or the skillful use of hands.

"...it is certain that Zarathustra talked of a kind of Purgatory and showed ways of getting free from it. The living could redeem the souls of those who died in sin by reciting passages from the Avesta and by doing good works..."

This is an old paganic practice that traces the roots of the RCC's doctrine of Purgatory. Nobody does it better than RIzal!

Maybe so, but try telling the downside to Camiguin as well. Ultra slow to NO internet. Electrical blackouts several times a month sometimes per week. Tourist prices! Food costs higher than other places in the Philippines. Transportation sucks. etc. Full on corruption.

yes, not clear on the ground how to get from town to town. Too much reliance on expensive and irregular tricycles.

I'm born and raised up in Camiguin and a pioneer in Camiguin telecommunications. The modern telephone network donated by the German gov't in the 90s is now gone. Towers can still be seen like in Mantigue Island. Internet via dialup started as early as 1994. The roots of dotPH administrator hails from Camiguin. I could have established a techie business in Camiguin. So, I only visit my home province during family reunions or important events.

@@NandyDagondon Ya, well, now it is all the Chinese Company Huawei. The best WI-FI service is PLDT. Most always a good signal and dependable. The towers, not so much. Sure, I am a foreigner, but i've been here 20+ years and I know.

This is nice to play in the background while working. I last read the book (Filipino version) back in high school so this is like re-visiting Rizal's iconic characters.

Hello! I just wanna say, thank you for posting and narrating the english version of Noli Me Tangere. I can't understand the story fully in my own language, Filipino, since I was raised to learn English. These audio books makes me interested in the story and the characters and it makes it easy for me to learn the story. Your voice is also very nice to hear. once again thank you😊
@Pinoywit3 жыл бұрын
You're welcome. And thank you too for watching/listening to the videos. Noli is very close to my heart and it pains me to see it under appreciated. I thought maybe the story could reach more people across the globe in English. The narration is by Availle from Librivox. She does indeed have a very soothing voice. :)
