Well how about that. You wanna talk about a bounce back race. That was for sure needed. Wish the JGR guys got together but what can you do? Biggest mover of the race up 23 spots on a great strategy call leading to a podium finish. I think we can forget Richmond now lol

I was at the drivers meeting earlier in the day addressing the fiasco of last week at Darlington and made this statement quote: "After what had happened at Darlington. Red is a respectable rookie driver he just could not hold on much longer or slow down fast enough despite how tough the track was. But do not despise this rookie driver. And there is also stark warning to Ryan Newman. If he retaliates, he will face a one race suspension. So, all of you drivers must run your race and Red will run his race." But Rusty Wallace chose to disobey of what I said. So Rusty is fined $10,000 for that un-sportsmanlike move. And the crew chief Bill Wilburn will be fined $80,000 for sanctioning the hit along with a 10-race suspension.

Is it possible to bring back the win amount that you used to have? Like when a driver won it would show the amount of all time wins they had but instead it followed this career. I really liked that and it would be cool to compare how they do in this series to real life. Either way I’m really enjoying your series

Casey Atwood and Buckshot Jones makes the field at the "Lady in Black" the track too tough to tame. Red Qusa on the pole but not a good start and then gets the Darlington stripe. But Ryan Newman got some instant Karma, Like Jimmy Spencer says, the driver never forgets. With Dale Jr coming short of victory, Jeff Gordon is going to get bombarded with beer cans from angry booing fans. However, what the fans didn't know is that Earnhardt has taken the points lead. | Winners of the season Jimmie Johnson - 4 Wins - Las Vegas, Fontana, Chicago, and Bristol (Night) Jeff Gordon - 4 Wins - Talladega, Martinsville, Charlotte, Darlington Matt Kenseth - 3 Wins - Texas World, Gateway, Milwaukee Kevin Harvick - 2 Wins - Dover and Sonoma Tony Stewart - 2 Wins - Portland and Nashville Rusty Wallace - 2 Wins - Daytona and Michigan Mark Martin - 1 Win - Kentucky Dale Earnhardt Jr. - 1 Win - Indianapolis Bobby Labonte - 1 Win - Road America Michael Waltrip - 1 Win - Bristol Jeremy Mayfield - 1 Win - Watkins Glen Ryan Newman - 1 Win - Pocono Johnny Benson - 1 Win - Daytona (Night) Red Qusa - 1 Win - New Hampshire | Failed To Qualify Jack Sprague - 0 - Pontiac Hermie Sadler - 02 - Pontiac David Reutimann - 04 - Pontiac Ted Musgrave - 07 - Dodge Mike Wallace - 09 - Dodge Brett Bodine - 11 - Ford Larry Foyt - 14 - Dodge Scott Wimmer - 27 - Dodge Paul Menard - 33 - Chevrolet Bobby Hamilton Jr. - 35 - Ford Derrike Cope - 37 - Chevrolet Scott Pruett - 39 - Dodge Christian Fittipaldi - 44 - Dodge Carl Long - 46 - Dodge Kevin Lepage - 57 - Ford Brian Vickers - 60 - Chevrolet Hideo Fukuyama - 66 - Ford Jim Sauter - 71 - Chevrolet Mike Bliss - 80 - Chevrolet Jason Keller - 81 - Chevrolet Morgan Shepherd - 89 - Ford Ron Hornaday Jr. - 90 - Chevrolet Jason Jarrett - 98 - Ford

I feel like this is a good crash course into what Bristol was back in 03, nobody passing except on the bottom, fenders getting worn out, eventually “screw it” and slam the guy in front of you to pass him. Just par for the course at Bristol lol. Well done on P2, and even with all that I’d still call it a more patient race with all the laps cut.

Sorry I missed some of the action recently Mr. Squared. But what I've seen on my phone recently was astonishing. Chicago Motor Speedway in Cicero, now that track was closing down in 2003. And it will be the only Cup race ever ran there until demolition. I've seen David Reutimann make a race appearance along with Ted Musgrave in Nashville. I've also seen Dale Jr. finally get his first win at Indy, Jeremy Mayfield winning the Glen after you got punted by the rocket along with that brutal crash with Kurt Busch. Now Kurt Busch isn't killed on impact he just suffered broken ribs. And now here a failed attempt to strike back at #12 resulted a loss of momentum and trying not make other enemies. With only 13 races left, other tracks like Nazareth, Pikes Peak, and Memphis could be on the custom schedule or probably not depending on how the season events are planned. The rest remaining is Homestead, Atlanta, Darlington, Rockingham, Richmond, Chicagoland, Kansas, Texas, and Phoenix are left. Along with Talladega Race #2. And other drivers looking to qualify for the remaining races. Hermie Sadler 02, Casey Atwood 91, Morgan Shepherd 89, Brian Vickers 60, Buckshot Jones 00 for Michael Waltrip Racing, Mike Harmon 78 of BC Motorsports, Rich Bickle 79 of Conely Racing, David Starr 75 of Mike Starr racing, Jeff Fultz 55 of Harrah racing, and Kerry Earnhardt 83 for FitzBradshaw Racing.

Absolutely top notch...So many hours of behind the scenes work to make this production. I would love to see you do this with Dirt to Daytona sometime if you ever need a change of pace in a different sim (Not necessarily a sim but you can enable hardcore physics and race with a wheel on PC) Limited replay length would be the biggest issue seeing how you do your edits. Solutions for that are being looked into.

My question is how do keep the race competitive and interesting? Not too fast but not too slow with the progression of your career?
@Squared77
@Squared77 26 күн бұрын
It's all about editing the track.ini files. I'd suggest researching it a bit, but the values you'll really want to look at are ai_accel, ai_decel, ai_grip, and ai_drag. Increase/decrease these values until you get AI that are competitive to you and your lap times.
