There are so many things wrong in this video, from not grounding the junction box, to using the wrong wire nut size and most importantly not applying the wire nut correctly to the cables, just to name a few. Under no circumstance should anyone follow these instruction or install an oven this way!

My first mistake was not referring to the manual before taking the door off in the first place. After much cursing and swearing, I thought of KZbin and found this absolutely priceless video. Thank you so much. Problem solved in 2 seconds flat and the door is back on. Thanks again. You're a lifesaver.

That was the dumbest video on the planet. If it was something blocking the lid lock, wouldn't someone determine that on their own? Meanwhile, mine is locked and flashing, unable to spin to get the water out of the towels and the mildew, which is a huge allergen for me, continues to grow. There is no one qualified where I live to repair, so I am buying a new maytag, thank you.

I don’t understand how the valve works. In this video the red cap on top of the regulator; I have tested this area and after four years of use there is gas leaking out of the top of this cap. 2% with cap on and if cap is off the leak increases to 20%. Is gas supposed to leak past this cap?

It looked straightforward -just switch the positioning of the hinge and latch, right? Wrong! We were baffled when door wouldnt close.
