With NH35 movements, it's luck of the draw. I have a different watch with an NH35 and I got lucky - stays within +5 seconds per day (which is excellent for most mechanical watches, and stellar for the NH35). 25 is still within spec (-20/+40) for the movement. If you have steady hands, and don't mind opening the watch, it's not difficult to adjust the regulation to get better accuracy, though doing so may void the warranty. There are lots of videos showing how. Nonetheless, you're right that a high-beat Miyota would be nice, but it would probably raise the price of the watch. Truthfully, at this price point, I'd be satisfied with a high-torque quartz movement that would be orders or magnitude more accurate than the NH35, though I do like mechanical movements. I'd even be willing to pay a little more for a solar quartz movement, which are not terribly expensive these days.

I finally ordered one of these PC watches. I was eyeing up a Luminox, but they use T25 tubes. This one is T100 (should be brighter) at a much better price. Mine should arrive in a few days. By the way, Trigalight (trig-a-light) is the name brand of the Swiss tritium tube manufacturer. I feel like these offer a lot of watch without taking a big bite out of the wallet.

Just got one of these with a power reserve complication instead of sub dial. Only paid $650 with the movement itself being $800. Great value.

As a purchaser in the grey market, do you have any advice for navigating that space? I have ordered this exact same piece for $1700 CANADIAN Dollars (1 CAD is currently 70 cents U.S.) on a Black Friday door crasher. The dealer (Fargo Time) has good reviews and a physical brink and mortar storefront, so I was taking some confidence in that. Maybe false confidence 🤷‍♂️? While the dealer “guarantees” authenticity as a genuine TAG-Heuer article, are there any tips you have to verify provenance, question or verify how these things are sourced, or otherwise what you do to gain some comfort that you are not getting a fake? Thanks for any advice.

Under 7 inches is fine. I am 6.7 inch and no issue pulling it off. I actually think the watch is made for +- my wristsize because of the drop down of the endlinks. On big wrists it would drop down and then stops to follow the contour of the large wrist.

I killed one! The sunlight alone will not run my watch ! I have a similar one that I left in the dark to long. Now it stays in low power mode. I charge it in direct sunlight all day, it charges up enough to get it out of low power state but the first time I go to setting functions it depletes the battery instantly and goes right back into low power mode. I’m thinking I ruined the power reserve on the battery. Because I love it so much, I will be having the battery replaced. I’ve had it at least 10 years.

I could have gone w the seiko which is a classic watch company but this watch is much cooler in my opinion.. also the fact that my daughter is half Jordanian and the owner is Arab.. it was a sentimental purchase for me as her mother
