I drive a E90 M3 and it is the best BMW I've ever had and I've had a few BMWs. I change my oil every 2000 miles and on top of the maintenance and like you said if you can do that then your car is going to be fine if you can't do that don't own a BMW

as some who owns a 370z we are pretty slow by todays standards. the vq platform is like the middle child of sport cars. Nissan basically gives us a piece of clay from factory and lets us decide how its molded based on taste. You can daily it, make a drift missile, boost it and make it a v8 eater, a show car, you can slam it if you like men, and you can even do very far fetched builds like off road and drag strips builds. Theres lots of potential for the vq platfrom they're just sold so cheapily that a good amount of them end up with the wrong owners. i pray clout culture releases its grip on cars. id like to have the vq platform talked well about again one day.
