if you watch this you'll notice that Lumine seems to cast spells more with her feet/legs, and Aether is more with the arms/hands more noticeable on the geo and anemo 'supers' (bursts), where Lumine for the geo stomps her foot more or less and Aether punches the ground. and if you look at some side by sides of cutscenes you'll see the same thing, Aether is stronger in the arms, while Lumine is stronger in the legs, which from the theories i've heard of how they fight when together (before game) would make sense, Aether is more defensive on moves (and stat wise) and Lumine is more offensive on moves (and stat wise)
