Man, there’s a game by the name of crestfallen that has done exactly this. I wish I could give you all the tea I have on that dev after helping their community. Oh goodness. And thank you for sharing this. I could feel this type of thing being the reason, I just needed someone to help with what to look for to pick up on games abusing this “development” style.

After I bit of debugging and going over some steps that are glossed over a little, I got this to work, with the exception that upon impacting the same projectile from the other player, one will disable and the other will not. How do I make the other projectile realise it has also collided?

You put a disclaimer in the start of the video claiming "Im not against using bought assets", but then you proceed to make the entire video basically complaining about them using assets. So obviously your disclaimer is not true. You think because they use assets that the game will automatically be a scam, or fail? I just watched a video of the 3rd beta for Quinfall and many comments were positive. I hope you are wrong and even with all the assets, it might still be a legit fun game.
