Hi, I'm completely new on photograph. I want a new camera for some trips with my band and other to record couple videos. Could you give me advice in what to buy? Those people looking for an EPL8 should also consider the earlier model EPL7 as most of the features of both cameras are identical. Both are certainly more customisable than the later EPL9 and EPL10 models.

have u used it with remote flash trigger, I was doing a photoshoot last night and F 5 did not trigger the light, I switched the icon of flash on lower display but that did not help. I know the trigger works because I was using it with d700 and this camera

I have an em10 markii with the 45mm 1.8 legend but I wanted a kit lens for its versatility, I found a second hand one, the epl8 is practically new!! with all accessories plus two kit lenses!! that of 14 42 and that of 40 150 for 180 euros!! It looks like I now have two cameras :p

@ of course. I could do without the evf personally. This could have been a rival to the Ricoh with such a small body. The Ricoh screen is completely fixed and also doesn’t have evf. This would’ve been strong competition in my opinion. Why put a flip screen when the xs-20 line is already in that “vlog, content creator” market. Sometimes I wonder if Fujifilm actually conducts surveys or cares about what the actual consumers want.

Dust does never enter the lens on the front element. Therefore a filter does not help. If dust is a problem with this camera, it will enter through the moving barrels when zooming. That creates a suction effect inside.

Great Viedeo and amazing Camera. I myself own a SL3 which I basically really love. Though on my last trip I struggled a bit with its size and weight. It´s just not an everyday camera to carry around. So thinking about selling the SL3 and go for the very minimalistic and small style of the M11-D. I love the idea with shooting without a screen. What do you think about my plan? :)

Two different shooting styles and mind set, it offer you a slow lifestyle shoot and not weather sealed with ip54 compared to sl3. I suggest either q3 or m11d ,m11 for travel
