so many beautiful truths in this message that touched my heart. I thought, "What if we walked around and encountered people, saying to ourselves, "I am the disciple who Jesus loves," just as John referred to himself. Jesus showed His love through His life, death and resurrection, inviting us into relationship with Him through His sacrifice. I think we would interact and see ourselves and others in a new light. From the book "Love Centered Parenting"- live as loved, how would the 'loved me' do this/respond/act? Because I am wholeheartedly loved by Jesus, not because of anything I've done or said, but because of who He is and what He has done. Can you please share the Jonathan Edwards quotation you told? Thank you Pastor Ben for inviting us into what a relationship with Jesus looks like and sounds like. It is oh so beautiful!

Pastor Ben…..the message given us this last Saturday has brought me perfect clarity in the realm of prayer. It caused me to re-examine my life. While I am in the midst of constant health issues…..I didn’t like what I saw…….so ..in my morning Bible reading and prayer…I experienced the need once again for the Lord to forgive me ….I had the thought It Is TIME to shake off the serpent…like paul did….I am experiencing fresh forgiveness and a Bright outlook in my relationship with our wonderful GOD!!!! We hear messages of the God who saves, heals, and delivers. This is the first one I've heard on, The God Who Blesses. It comforts me to think of my heavenly Father in such a way. It's right up there with the way Hagar described Him in Genesis 16:13, when she called Him, " The God Who Sees Me". All day, I will be meditating on His blessings in my life. He has blessed my life from before I was born. Thank you!

My gosh! Honestly! I was having my coffee, thinking about how selfish people are lately and this message flashed on my phone. How people have forgotten how to take a moment and help someone when they see someone struggling. When I was young, we called to see if there was a need or just let someone know we are thinking of them. I could go on but people have lost the ability to care. When I'm upset, I feel better if I di something for someone else. Really! Take an hour to take a "selfie"? So much good could be done to help someone else in that hour!

That's scares me,when I have more I seem to need God a little less, I pray that no matter how much I have my need for Him to never change,to get to a place where my identity is only in Him that way nothing will ever take his place and the hunger for him.
