I always believe that Caleb didn't die because of the necklace MC gave him its odd coz he close the door before explosion so I think that he returned it to MC.. They made Sylus a Li so I will assume that Caleb will be a vallain.

Gonna be honest, I don't care how or why, I just NEED him to return alive! That explosion came out of nowhere and scared tf out of me. I'm really invested in where this plot line is going, especially EVER, bold enough to lit a house up under broad daylight. lol

He could be the doctor who escaped to N109 zone, I think doctor noah mentioned it in chapter 4. But i am not sure because the escapee doctor sounds to be very old but this man is fairly young. Personally, i think it's caleb as his appearance and voice matches. Maybe, he's not the ceo but that doesn't mean he isn't working with them.

The Ockham's Razor is: The 3d model is not Caleb in the facial features. (yes i have it extracted from the game's assets) Second is: EVER brooch and buttons everywhere Third reason: Caleb I am 90% that he is the voice in Thorns under Moonlight chapter 8, the voice that speaks to Zayne with "??". I double checked some voice samples and if you take out the echo they sound identical especially in the pronunciation of certain letters "L", "R", "S". Which are some of the letters used to identify linguistic habits. (if you need the voice samples lemme know)

I actually was thinking that maybe grandma confessed to Caleb part of the truth about MC, and together they were trying to protect MC. Grandma seems like an ordinary old lady, but let`s not forget she was one of the scientists who killed child MC during and experiment to prove their theory that MC could revive. She knew MC would be in danger sooner or later. Caleb could have chosen to work for Ever so he`d be closer to the enemy. The day of the explosion, it felt to me like grandma and Caleb had their own plans and were leaving MC in the dark. Caleb was already planning to stay close to MC from then on and grandma was supposed to go to somewhere else to rest and recover. It felt like they knew more than they let on and where already taking steps to keep everyone safe. The explosion took them by surprise, and Caleb changged plans. It`s just my wild especulation. I`m looking forward to Caleb`s return. And it`d be interested if his relationship with MC was a more complicated one.

After Zayne's branch, I had made up the theory that, we will be learning more about Ever with each branch which will ultimately lead us to the 5th guy. Since Ever is the true evil and makes experiments on humans to create wanderers, it's obvious that the first "enemy", Onychinus, will most likely team up with the hunter's association to fight Ever. I mean, we have now learned that Luke and Kieran were indeed experimented on and sent away for disposal, so Sylus must have a deep hatred for that group. As for Caleb... many think that he and the Ever guy from chapter 8 are one and the same person. I don't know if that's the case. But we do know about his Evol. And that he must actively use it to move objects. And since the necklace was right in front of MC is proof enough that Caleb is alive. This is my theory.
