Civilized human-beings live here. Not like other places where people brag about coming from the so called "real hoods" where numbskulls act wild and mindless, thinking they are cool, when everyone else sees them as extremely du.. and s....d.

In the summer of 97, I took a travel assignment in Kinston. I worked at Lenore Hosptal. The ppl were not friendly at all. I just drove to the beach at Newburn and Emerald Isle for entertainment. I would drive to Raleigh to find stuff to do.
@infinite.destinations7 күн бұрын
Interesting. I've personally noticed a correlation between higher crime areas and cities having more rude or aggressive people. Raleigh is my favorite place in NC. Great people there.

Is this a joke? Whats so rough about this place? The blight? News flash- almost all of America looks like this or worse.
@infinite.destinations9 күн бұрын
You've got to be trolling or just plain naive. Niagara Falls, NY, LOOKS bad and IS bad. It's full of all types of crime and is more dangerous than a high majority of any US city or town of all sizes. What is blight typically associated with? Crime...

Hello, would you mind if I sampled a couple clips from your video (perhaps about 15 seconds in total)? It's for a video I'm putting together for my son's KZbin channel "Planet Marcus" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGnLaYeDgJKCj7Msi=9xPs6eJnvmjYXN9e). Your work is incredible, and while I usually do my own drone work, coming from upstate New York, I wasn't sure how that would play out so I abandoned it at the last minute. I would of course credit you in the description. Thanks much.

I’m from Meridian. My great grandfather helped build the Threefoot building which is the tallest building in town that you can see from all over the downtown area and clearly seen in the video for those who aren’t familiar. It’s a beautiful art deco building from 1929 with intricate and colorful tile stylized motifs that add to the building’s vibrant aesthetic appeal.
@infinite.destinations11 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing! It's by far the most iconic building in Meridian.
