Why is PT so cumbersome? Escpecially when it comes to internal busses? Like every other daw has this figured out so it only takes at most 2 clicks to get what you need for running a bus. SMH

I cannot get it to work. I follow your guide step by step. I only see activity in the input 1 of LadioCast and the main output. But nothing in input 2 or aux output 1

For newer versions of protools it was because I had a 2nd video track. Playback was black screen until I deleted the 2nd blank video track.

So now, I just launched a test (again) and at this moment everything sounds perfect from the QT video except on Input 2 with Aux 1 activated, the Aux 1 Output shows no volume level movement and the volume bar is all whited all the way to the right as if that level is at its max. The reason why I sent another comment, is because it may completely change again. It's set up exactly as your is in the video.

I got this to work, but then it just went somewhere else. My MacBook is from 2012? It does not seem to Garage Band, it is basically Logic Pro lite, and it doesn't seem consistent. It also doesn't work in Reason. I followed your video to a "T,", but it's seems too sometime(y).

This only half worked, as my interface is an M-AUDO Fast Track Pro. There was feedback when I tried to get levels, and when it did capture sound, it was way too low and couldn't be used. for anything seriously. It worked with Soundflower, but with Blackhole, I had not had any success and I haven't been able to replace my interface. M-Audio outdated its own product, as far as Fast Track Pro.

This almost worked. Unfortunately, I think my interface is out of date, so it only half functions. I'm using a M-AUDIO Fast Track Pro..., it was working, but then it just stopped. When I tried it, there was feedback, then when it did work, the volume in the QT is too low to be used.

27:50 - Edit: Lazy treatment on the addition of reverb here, while this is approach can work for a quick example, I would explore bussing the stem over to an auxiliary channel containing your Reverb effect and create a balance that way.

Preferably use an audio interface with a microphone because trying to do this with a Bluetooth headset is latency hell 😂

I wonder. Is there any possible way to hear mic audio during playback without recording?

For older versions of Pro Tools I have other solution. My video was in 30 FPS. Try to change session framerate to 29.97 even if video is 30fps and then it started playing. Also you can change framerate of the video through converter like Shutter Encoder to 29.97 and it will work.

Love Pro-Tools but I gotta say another reason Logic Pro X is better. So much extra work just to name a buss, wow!!

Dude the difference is quite clear. The high end sounds are more natural and the listening experience is more calming for the lower frequency. It also feel like there is more emphases on the environment which does help to better immerse you. I used Soundcore Q30 headphones to listen to this. Thank you for this.

Where is the bus info stored? If I create and name a bunch of busses, what happens to them if I go to another session? What happens if I delete them from the I/O menu, do they disappear from all session? Where is the info stored or is it static?

Hi Michael, Nano Kontrol 2 is working. Quick question: how do I write the automation from my nano Kontrol into pro tools for volume and expression? I have CC#7 assigned to fader 1 and CC#11 assigned to fader 3 of the nano kontrol 2. Thank you!

Useful if you don't use midi flags at the beginning of project. If you have them it doesn't work. It should be option "hide all inactive track".
