Anyone know how to service, clean and repair these pieces of utter junk? I work telecom in Alaska and the T59 is pretty cool for running coax, but these arrow stapplers fail constantly. Everyone has issues with them. Most techs have completely stopped using staples. I have literally gone through 4 of them. I have never witnessed any single model of professional tool fail as routinly as the Arrow T59P stapler does.

I've been trying to do research on exactly that! The size and thickness of a brad or a finish nail! I have finally decided the job I have needs smaller nails but it needs a bit of a circular head/top. (It's going into a seam on the ceiling.) Which has lead me to the finish nail gun. This is the first video I have found where you have shown the thickness and the head of the nail! So thank you so much!! I'm totally new to all of this!

Do something else as you don't have a clue. 53 and 140 are different outside widths 11.35mm and 10.6 some guns can handle the difference, some jam and die. Buy the correct type for your stapler.

Hello, sorry to hear you feel that way! You are indeed very correct in that crown widths influence the staples ability to suit certain tools, if you watch some of our other videos you'll notice that these topics are covered. The idea for this video was to keep it very short and simple, explaining how the applications for these staples might differ, not necessarily the difference in physical properties. If you're interested in learning more about crown widths and how they differ, be sure to give our blog a read: mytoolkit.co.uk/blogs/blog/learn-about-types-of-staples-and-why-its-important-to-know

How does it compare to the 53series?
@mytoolkitonline
@mytoolkitonline Жыл бұрын
We'd argue that 71 series are in a league of their own as it relates to upholstery. They're the most popular staple and there's good reason for it. The physical differences lie in the staples gauge and crown width. This video might add some substance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqWYcoGEdsSLhbc In terms of the numbers, 71 series have a 9mm crown Vs. the 53 Series 11.35mm crown but 71 Series are also available in a wider range of leg lengths (3-16mm). The 71 series tool options are also much more versatile in that there's a vast array of options in both pneumatic and electric-powered tools. Hope this helps. Best, Ethan

Nice straightforward review, I've just ordered the long nose version. Why size air compressor would you recommend with this. I've seen some cheaper 9L out there.
@mytoolkitonline
@mytoolkitonline Жыл бұрын
Hi, 9l would be more than capable, we usually recommend 6l for running one small stapler off. Note also that a 6l would be much easier to carry around. I should mention that it's worth checking the specs of the 9l. The 6l units that we stock are all oil-free, making them super easy to maintain. They're also all reasonably quiet (although some more so than others). Also, make sure you're aware of what male airline fitting is on your tool so that the airline and compressor correctly correspond. Be free to browse our range here: mytoolkit.co.uk/collections/air-compressors The Evolve Eco is great value for money in terms of its spec. Hope that helps? Best, Ethan.

Where can get an airline for my upholstery air stapler A7116v?
@mytoolkitonline
@mytoolkitonline Жыл бұрын
Hello, you can find a few varying airline options here: mytoolkit.co.uk/collections/airlines Quite frequently, we find that it can get confusing with hose diameters, etc. so we decided to only stock airlines that we know are guaranteed to work with ALL pneumatic staplers/nailers. If you don't mind, may I also recommend the blue-coiled airline? For a good reason, it's our most popular airline as it is really malleable and easy to move around the workshop, all whilst retaining its coiled shape when not in use. Hope this helps, any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us either via socials or our website 😁 Best, Ethan

@mytoolkitonline

Hi, @@Yousafzaifoodandtravel Assuming that 14/25 is referring to 14 Series 25mm, you will need a 14 series stapler to fire such staples. They're very large & strong, typically used for heavy-duty applications such as pallet & case manufacturing. Is it possible to change the air outlet of the compressor?
@mytoolkitonline
@mytoolkitonline Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching our video 🙂 I wouldn't say its not possible, however not something we'd recommend as the air outlet is part of the compressor unit and therefore may invalidate the warranty. The preferred option is to insert an adapter, or use a hose with a hi-flow fitting on the compressor end. Trust this helps and be free to get in touch for more assistance [email protected]

Hello! On this type of nailer there is sometimes a small spring catch inside the magazine (towards the end) that stops the strip from sliding back out of the slot easily. It can be a bit fiddly but if you can find anything that appears to be preventing the nails from coming back out, try to depress it at that should allow then to be removed Hope this helps -

Hello, John. Thanks for inquiring, although as stated below, this compressor size is too small for that type of application as you require a much better airflow for spraying and subsequently a larger unit. Hi what pressure are you using when reviewing I have my regulator set at 110psi and finding that the nails sink into ply a bit to much I have adjusted the depth on gun wondering if it’s a bit much I’m using 22mm nails thank you
@mytoolkitonline
@mytoolkitonline Жыл бұрын
Hi, Nick. There is no right or wrong pressure as its dependent on numerous individualised factors. That said, we always recommend starting at around 90psi, test-firing the tool, and incrementally increasing the psi until the nails are sinking perfectly for you. The aim of the game is to have as low psi as possible whilst still sending the nails home - this will increase the lifespan of your tool as too high a psi can really damage the internal mechanisms. Hope that helps? Best, Ethan

Hi, Andrew Flooring/carpeting applications are much better suited to narrow crown staplers - this is a popular seller: mytoolkit.co.uk/collections/narrow-crown-staplers/products/stanley-bostitch-97-series-staple-gun-4-16mm-21697b-e While it will provide you with the holding power needed to fix the carpet, I doubt that using a stapler will provide you with the same aesthetic effect as a bolster chisel. Hope that helps :)
