That 30” part with a 24” extension is $588. All it needs a lubrication because it’s older. Not used very often on an RV generator drawer. The replacement unit is over $2000 from Thompson. I’m looking to buy something to replace it for say $100 that will do the job. This company must depend on Pharmacy and Defence contractors. Not very customer oriented and out of touch.

Are you sure that you need to use oil on the shaft hub surface? This is the surface that transmit the torque and force, by oiling it the friction will be less?
