Total fluff. Zero real content. If they made a serviceable product it would be great. After spending ridiculous amounts on those actuators, shouldn’t the customer be able to get part to service them on site, and for a reasonable cost? I recently tried to get a simple two gear Delrin plastic part and it’s $388, and 120 days lead time. The extension tube is not serviceable because they made it so you can’t take it apart. That 30” part with a 24” extension is $588. All it needs a lubrication because it’s older. Not used very often on an RV generator drawer. The replacement unit is over $2000 from Thompson. I’m looking to buy something to replace it for say $100 that will do the job. This company must depend on Pharmacy and Defence contractors. Not very customer oriented and out of touch.

Are you sure that you need to use oil on the shaft hub surface? This is the surface that transmit the torque and force, by oiling it the friction will be less?
@hvhindustrialsolutions78075 жыл бұрын
Great question Erik. You are right, if you assemble dry you will get slightly higher torque, but lightly oiling helps the assembly. Catalog torque values are based on installation with lightly oiling.
