The 1959-60 Corvettes are the sweet spot of C1s with classic aggressive styling but not too much flash IMHO. When building a car and deciding how to use it and compromises to be made, it hits home on a manufacturer trying to satisfy several hundred thousand people.

This is a "1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown Imperial". In this model year this car cost more than a Rolls Royce ! The base price of a Rolls Royce was $8,000.00 ! This Chrysler's base price was around $22,000.00 ! Frank Sinatra and other high profile people could be seen cruising around Palm Springs and The Movie Lots in Las Angeles at the time styling in one of these back then.
