Nice hook ups, especially the Black Drum. Always get a Tide Forecast before venturing out on the water. I've heard some horror stories of kayaks and boats getting stranded at an out-going tide. Be safe and tight lines.

How deep is it where you go? Any alligator sightings or sharks?
@Yakmandave4 ай бұрын
It depends on the tide but it ranges from 3 to 5 ft in the channels. I have not seen a gator in a long time. Sharks I have seen but fairly small.
@Jozuv4 ай бұрын
Do you have to anchor? I’m assuming these man made channels don’t lead to the deep ocean? Newbie here just checking.
@Yakmandave4 ай бұрын
@Jozuv we have an anchor but rarely use it since the current is usually slow around there. The channels lead out to the bay not the ocean.

Wow that area looks great for kayaking but just curious how long does it take to pedal to that spot and what’s the water depth in that area?
@Yakmandave8 ай бұрын
It is a great area. The water depth varies with the tide. You need to be careful where you park and know the high tide time. It doesn't take long at all to get around. Thanks for watching.
