Richard Blanton was a great singer. Then after he passed it was Leslie Anderson and Cleveland Stills. All were pretty good, Blanton was the best.

As an Eastern Orthodox Christian whose services are filled with beautiful chanting and antiphonal singing, I still find this music deeply moving and a worthy praise to God.

As a 68 yr old from Brooklyn, I grew up with this music. "The Dubs" are one of the greatest & my favorite Oldie's group of all time. All Superb voices, elegant and very classy gentlemen. Definitely, not the crap you see and hear today. Unfortunately, "The Dubs" didn't receive the credit due. Should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for sure! I listen to them everyday.

Well now, they often call me Speedoo But my real name is Mr. Earl Well now, they often call me Speedoo But my real name is Mr. Earl Known for meetin' brand-new fellas And takin' other folks', girl Well now, they often call me Speedoo 'Cause I don't believe in wastin' time Well now, they often call me Speedoo 'Cause I don't believe in wastin' time Well, I've known some pretty women And that's caused them to change their minds Well now, some may call me Joe Some may call me Moe Just remember Speedoo He don't never take it slow Well now, they often call me Speedoo But my real name is Mr. Earl Well now, they often call me Speedoo But my real name is Mr. Earl Well now, some may call me Moe Some may call me Joe Just remember Speedoo He don't never take it slow Well now, they often call me Speedoo But my real name is Mr. Earl Well now, they often call me Speedoo But my real name is Mr. Earl And now they got to call me Speedoo 'Til they call off makin' pretty girls
