I've been there. No one should move there! The state taxes food violating your rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. On top of that other taxes are redo ulous and the schools shouldn't even be allowed to be called that! Instead of teaching math, they tell them on tests they are allowed to look it up on Google! Clean up the corruption in that state before anyone moves there!

Crime rate is a tricky subject as there are a great many factors. A town with very few businesses will have lower crime (fewer opportunities). Car theft is more prevalent where there are car dealers. Homelessness, drug use, and gangs are the most concerning for me. Those people are unpredictable and dangerous. I'm less interested in the stats on tax evasion, jaywalking, and fraud. Even the "Murder capital of the world" had nice areas. Most cities do. I suggest home buyers zoom in a bit and investigate areas more closely. I don't care if the $1 million dollar neighborhood is safe. I want to know about the neighborhood I might move to.

Nice to live in an area with no hostility between each other.
