What I like most in this scene is Aaron's development. He started off resentful and hopeless unlike Miriam, wasn't supportive like Zipporah was and lacked the brotherly love with Moses that Rameses had. Yet by this stage Aaron's the first one to step forward and encourage his people to enter the Red Sea. It's also a good parallel to Moses and Rameses bond which has deteriorated by this stage but Aaron's bond with Moses has started to build.
