Did Ethan play Danny for a fool? I have a hard time believing that he did. Did he not want Danny to use the money to better himself and get help? He seemed to be the only one who was willing to believe in Danny and thinking he could get better and even gave him the option by giving him the money with no strings attached. Everyone wanted Danny to either die of his own hand or by involuntarily committed. Ethan seemed to be the only one who spoke honestly with him.
