hey bro i have a question. How is karting works at PKRA? Is the kart rental? is there any membership to buy to use the track? what about events?

Hey, I’m not too familiar with everything they have. I’m sure there are teams there that are willing to do rentals. I don’t think the track has a fleet of its own. The website has good information but I’d recommend just going in person on a practice day and speaker to someone who works there. www.pkra.com

You don’t need to be a member you can just pay for your daily entry but if you are local and think you will go often I’d recommend the membership

I think “mutkurve” is the scariest for me. A lot of potential for the car to be unsettled right before high speed entry. Little room for error.

I'm ok with locking the rear tire a bit, but you're probably over-doing just a little and losing a tenth per lap. Everything else looked decent. The design of those chicanes is crap.

Are you referring to trailing off earlier or just overall pressure? These Vegas also chirp really loud compared to something like an Evinco

@@Santi71r 1:08 - Down that straight probably just a touch too much locking the rear just before the corner. I'd still brake hard there, but try to keep mid corner speed just a little higher by not locking first. So hard initial pressure, but then trail off the brake before it locks (chirps). Keep refining until you find where it doesn't chirp. See if the lap time improves a tenth or two?

Does anybody at the track use any brand of CRG? like normal crg, maranello, vanspeed, any of those? i wanna get a crg but idk what kart everybody uses since ive only watched a race once

@@Santi71r That would actually be amazing, do they run at adams allot (or wherever tri-c runs)? I plan on racing there sometime around christmas or early next year since thats when ill probably get a kart, i want to run crg but just didnt know if anybody ran it so this helps allot

Tri-c has been running at Adams and I assume they’ll do the winter league there too for the time you’ll be racing. K1 is also looking closer and closer to opening

I don’t think you’ll be totally alone but I’m sure you already know OTK is very popular. I’ve seen a CRG do really in other events and if you’ve tried both then stick with what you like. Regardless for those events like Tri-C, Precision Works is the main CRG track support and will have the parts you need. I assume this is for KA100?

Different engines. The person driving has a 4 stroke with 14 HP give or take, the kart overtaking him has around 21
