The irony is that the Gothic style is relatively new, dating from about the 1100s AD. Neoclassical styles date back to about 800 BC to about 300 AD.

When the Puritans pushed the them into Maryland, they did not make a big deal of it. They turned the lemons thrown at them by the Puritans into the most beautiful lemonade. Look at it. Why? Other people use their position to speak on political issues. Look at Hollywood, Athletes and of course politicians. Why should they get a free pass to speak on the issues that concern them? Unless you propose that all individuals with influence refrain from speaking on political issues. If anyone were to be first in counseling the public it is the Archbishop not movie stars and athletes.

The population was less than 1% Catholic. I made many friends among the Blacks at the "Pembroke Youth Centre"(now the Centre") and on "Court street" the drug centre of the island. The Blacks were so friendly to me, even on Court Street. I witnessed the Civil Rights era; so I was amazed that the Blacks liked me. I miss them. God bless you!

if the church opposed gay marriage that is fine - they can advise their members not to marry members of the same sex. However, we don't make laws in the United States based on any religion's doctrine - as such, laws about gay marriage cannot and should not be based on what the bibile says.

I promote gay marriage.

I know that he's probably saying that marriage is between one man and one woman but the message is so diluted that it's hard to say.
