I actually want to try them. But all the locals I‘ve talked to did not recommend it and even warned me about them. So now I am hesitant to do it 🥴

Since it's a toll road, where does the collected money go to & who maintains this drive?
@CoolCapeTravel3 ай бұрын
The provincial government is the true owner of the road - it is part of the Table Mountain National Park. Entilini, a private company, has an agreement with the government in order to manage Chapman's Peak Drive for operation and maintenance purposes. Toll fees would be used for maintenance.

I got a flock of Ring-necked/Rose-ringed Parakeets that congregate in the big old oak tree in my suburban London garden before they fly off to roost. How they got to be wild in the UK has differing soruces,but they are thriving here,albeit regarded as pests by some. This park is doing great for conservation of birds that are far more at risk that the ubiquitous parakeets. Bravo

@@CoolCapeTravel This is what made me interested in aviation! I would boast to my school friends about flying on the SP. I am 52 now & still love flying, but when I was reminded of how much leg room we had on the SP I was appalled at todays standards!
@jesusislordoflords8767 ай бұрын
How much would something like this cost?
@Mik-xq2co7 ай бұрын
Just flew BA from Seattle to London. Paid $2500 for premium economy. I think regular economy was about $800 for the same flight. I found the only real advantage was the legroom and the added arm-rest space. I tend not to tilt the seat back much, to the additional recline premium econ provides is not something I need. Also in this cabin section, there was no dedicated bathroom. The bathroom was shared with econ and not enough (four I think) to serve all of econ and econ+. Coming back home (London to Seattle) I was able to use a systemwide upgrade my girlfriend has on American, to get bumped up to business class. This seating section was far superior to that of econ+. Expensive though, as I think a roundtrip tix in business was more than $10K.

Just booked PE in row 26 (the last row) as I want to be able recline without bothering anyone for the entire flight. Any thoughts on those seats? I think they fully recline as what I've read. Thanks for this great review.
@CoolCapeTravel8 ай бұрын
Awesome! Great choice, you can recline without worry. Have a great flight !
@Dave-ro3nj7 ай бұрын
One other quick question. I always take one of those neck pillows while flying economy. Does the PE seat recline enough to leave that at home. Thanks again. Subscribed!@@CoolCapeTravel
