in my 740il the rd level rod comes out of the coolant reservoir\. hat shall I do? can I drain or suck out of the resevoir?

Recommend if you have to pull the god crank bolt use a 3plug adapter for an extension cord the thick orange rubber ones you can buy them from any auto and hardware store put it at the thickest crank counter lobe and you won’t have issues with breaking wooden blocks/warping the fly wheel using the lock. Attached my half inch makita roughly around 740lbs breakaway not certain but was able to get it off in about 3 mins of continuous impact. Entire body and hand definitely feel weird after but glad it’s out!

Love this video the only thing I noticed is putting assembly lube under your bearings in never a great idea should always be a clean and dry surface but I'm sure they know what there doing!!

@@mr_amaris you should do a build break down listing fuel system motor parts injector size etc for those like myself who are getting rdy to build an m52 as there's not much on KZbin for these motors

Correct me if I'm wrong. Looks like ur using the m50 block because there's a freeze plugs on the side.Aside from that, I have stock e36 325i with a m52. Really love to make more power. Without turbo & super charging it

M52 iron blocks also have freeze plugs. This is an M52B28 block and head.

I've just watched these videos from the start. When these rings where first installed they pulled them straight out of the pack. In every engine I always check for ring gap, never trust off the shelf. Would this be the cause of this failure?

Ok, that's all really wonderful, but the turn in the end is definitely a cliffhanger. So I subscribed. I have a P38 RR that seen some rough times before came to my hands, and needs paint refreshing for sure. Anyway, good structure of narrative, interesting in-depth, and pain in your eyes is bought me. Keep it up, I'll stay tuned for next vids.

I'm doing the same on my car, it's a Vw Polo, but it's a new car that has a lot of orange peel from factory, i tested sandpaper, had great results but just like you i was doing multiple buffing passes, so i bought a carpro denim pad 2000 grit and its doing an exellent job! 2 pesses of the denim pad controlling the heat and the paint reflects like water, and only medium scratches really easy to buff, maybe in some painels the denim pad would help on your bmw
