the interviewer excels at relevant questions, thank you

This is kinda funny cause I've seen him use Blick scholastic brushes almost exclusively prior to this - he'd buy in bulk and not really bother cleaning them, using them as cheap expendables. No artist is going to turn down a Rosemary and Co sponsorship though, they do make fantastic brushes and I'm sure Mark uses them too.

This is interesting. But what does anyone really learn from it. ?? About him or the brushes. He basically is good enough to do this with any brushes.

I love Rosemary & Co brushes! And they are the sweetest people. I am a very beginner oil painter... but they treated me like a pro when I placed orders in the past. I will continue to order as I grow in my skills

I love Rosemary & Co brushes! I really don’t like long handles, and to be able to buy short handled ones is great! And the quality and service are second to none. ❤️

I once stayed in a B&B where they had an original DC painting on a corridor. Reproductions don’t do full justice to the depth of his talent IMO. On a different tack, the art world (public galleries etc) infuriate me somewhat. Instead of mounting major exhibitions of artists like David, Ken Howard, Olwyn Bowey etc, they increasingly go in for overtly modernistic or political stuff, that whilst being interesting, is not what I would go out of my way for. The stuff I like tends to be in the hands of a few private/elite dealers, who seem to operate outside of the ‘art world’.

I live in the US and have always used Princeton and I do like them. But I found a few brushes from Rosemary & Co that I have not seen elsewhere: the eradicator brushes (I have all three and LOVE them) and the spotter brushes. Princeton has spotter brushes but they are NOTHING like the ones sold by Rosemary & Co. I have been painting with watercolor and gouache for a couple of years now and I feel like her spotter brushes have been exactly what I have been needing and didn't know it until now. I am going to try other brushes in her collection. Shipping was incredibly fast considering the distance. They are wonderful brushes!

I'm a new fan of her work and I think she's an incredible painter and artist. Her paintings are so breathtaking and delicate. The care in each brushstroke is visually telling, and it's such a privilege to have found this interview and get some insight into the person whose work I've admired since. Great work from the interviewer as well. Bravo 👏🏽

That was a good description for those brushes. The evergreen are becoming my favorite. They have a softnes about them and the way they lay the paint. The long filberts anf flats hold lots of paint. His set is priced well. The filbert and flats assortment sets were helpful in finding the nature of the various types rosemary offers. Great videos. Keep it up!

New South African watercolour artist! I'm thinking Rosemary is the way to go...... now let me just sell my car to afford one of these brushes! 😝 Off to the Italian Art Shop! Hey Rosemary & Co, if you're reading this you also want to get your brushes into a shop called The Deckle Edge here in Cape Town. 🙂 They're amazing!

I have an issue... all my brush are frayed. I have purchased Rosemary brushes Ivory and eclipse. Contacted Rosemary and they replaced, as thought could be a manufacture issue. Well it happened again. All my brushes are frayed not just my Rosemary. They told me not to use mineral sprits. Did clean per your advice. What could I be doing wrong as so frustrated to not have brushes that work. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you

We can ship all of our brushes to the USA. The only ones you may have an issue with are the Kolinsky Sable, but in truth we can now ship those to our distributors so you shouldn't have any issues getting hold of our brushes now. This set doesn't have any Kolinsky Sable in there so you can order direct if you wish? Kind wishes, Symi
