I knew Greg many years ago. A good friend and talented organist. On a evening when we met Richard Elliot Chief organist for The Tabernacle Choir Richard asked Greg to audition as a tabernacle organist.

As a Dr in Music I can say Victor is making so many mistakes. Check out Joel Tiotuico he got into Juilliard and Laguardia High School plated for President Obama. Omg he was 8 years old but check him out. Yes Victor could have a chance if he would take lessons with a good Professor. BUT NOT NOW

I really love this particular arrangement of Poinciana. I first heard heard it played on the ballroom organ of the Atlantic City Convention Hall, sadly, no credit was given as to who the organist was, nor who wrote this wonderful arrangement. Would be great to know who arranged it. Justin Stahl is absolutely terrific!

I remember Greg at age nine. He was so in love with the organ - unstoppable passion for the instrument. He has developed into a fine theater organist - a very natural talent!

That is the problem with most piano players, they don't know how to play the pedals and they only play one keyboard, then two at the same time. It was until recently I had found that Kimball organ company at one made actual theater pipe organs, and then went to electronic organs in the 1950s. I have old brochures of Kimball electronic organs from the 1950s all the way into the late 1970s. They were great organs, but sadly the parent company decided to closed down Kimball in the late 1980s. Kimball also had acquired Conn organ company in 1979 and then shortly it was closed down due to the organ market.

He is an excellent theatre organist. His habit of keeping time with the swell shades must drive those that maintain the organ to be concerned.I have seen modern organists do this. One woman put a set out of commission during her little concert in the closed position. She cranked the pedal that much.

One of the greatest standards ever written. Amazingly by a pair of relatively unknown song writers. Early one hit wonders as it were! A simply beautiful arrangement by Mr. Frame!

The talents and musicianship of Mark Herman are absolutely superb. And if one assumes that this is own improvisational arrangement, that makes the package even more spectacular. Theatre Pipe Organ seems to be a lost art. Kudos to Mark Herman [and his fans/patrons] for perpetuating the medium.

Keep the secular music out of the church, and stick to the hymnal, and I am not talking about revival hymns.

Greg, You were about 14 when I was playing the Lowrey GX 25 at Robbies Totaway NJ. You blew my playing away and I recorded you. I mentioned my Thomas Palace 3 for sale but your Dad said no. Now having been organist at the Suffern Lafayette, and friends with Bob Miloche, I'm going to call you for some tech stuff, as I've bought John Keiser's Th 3 +. Isn't this fun?
