what i did is i hit lvl 21 playing rec than i played 3v3 pro am until i hit 40 3v3 proam is the fastest way to hit lvl 40 because it gives you the xp of playing rec but its as short as a park game i also had double xp coins which made the grind really easy and even without coins at lvl 39 you gain 10% percent a game meaning you just have to win 10 games of 3v3 to hit 40 if you make it to lvl 37 you get a free 2 hour xp coin which is enough to carry you to lvl 40 hope that helped a litte bit
